The correct response would be; what ice cream would YOU put in the middle?Well that looks like a heart attack waiting to happen![]()

To your point-if anyone ever visits Lancaster County PA, we have a local dairy (2) locations called Fox Meadows. To be fair-it’s not my first choice but most people consider it too 2. They have a seasonally flavored treat called a baked fox. Can be a brownie, a thick chocolate chip concoction or even shortly pie. They wrap wax paper on it and stick it in a panini press to warm and goo-ify , then split it and drop a giant scoop of flavor of your choice ice cream then lid it with other said goo-ified half. I can’t even eat half but good God I have tried on several occasions. It seems up there with that bread loaf of cookie dough. The correct response would be; what ice cream would YOU put in the middle?
I'll definitely have to reach out on my next trip to Maine. As they're getting older, the wife and kid aren't okay with 18 hours straight in the car/truck. The past few times we've stopped anywhere between Gettysburg and Wilkes-Barre for the night since that's generally the halfway point, give or take a hundred miles. To your point-if anyone ever visits Lancaster County PA, we have a local dairy (2) locations called Fox Meadows. Me too!I like that “goo-ified” descriptor.
She can make it - sooner or later these techs are gonna figure it out!The Wrangler is at the dealer. Been there since yesterday. It still does that where it doesn’t always want to start and I get the red lightning bolt. They said they don’t think it’s the fuel pump. Now they are saying it’s the “relays”. How many and exactly what I have no idea, but it’s covered under my lifetime warranty so my cost is only my $100 deductible. They said they will have the parts Monday so it will be back next week and hopefully fixed. Come on Rain, you have to hold out until 2028.
That’s how I feel about mine, haha. Come on truck, only 2ish more years of hard service. The Wrangler is at the dealer. Been there since yesterday. What happened to the TIPM? Did they determine it isn’t the TIPM, or…???She can make it - sooner or later these techs are gonna figure it out!
They have stated the code reader says “communication error”. Whatever that means. What happened to the TIPM? Did they determine it isn’t the TIPM, or…???
Have they provided you with a readout from their diagnostics computer?

Also it’s taken so long to figure out which relay it has because the relay has been updated a few times and they needed to make sure they ordered the right part.
And this is gonna sound terrible but since I have that warranty replace whatever the heck they want as long as it only costs me the $100.
This happened when it was idling all whacky and they started with the thermostat and the it still did it so they replaced the oxygen sensor and I just paid my $100 deductible.
All of this to say I can’t wait for my BEV. Will my BEV have a TIPM? I sure hope not. Im done with this bs.
My bolt is a baby with its mileage but it chews pavement everyday, I just hope it will still have a good trad value by the time BEV Terras start rollingThat’s how I feel about mine, haha. Come on truck, only 2ish more years of hard service.
I know you have warranty but the constant issues would be driving me nutsThe Wrangler is at the dealer. Been there since yesterday. Starting to think you should put the continued $100’s toward a used EV for next 1-1/2 to 2 years and become an EV expert before your Scout arrives. What you’d save in gas alone and trips for repairs might make it worth it and use as a learning opportunitySigh. I’m sorry this is happening.
The BEV will have a pile of computers. On the Scout, there will be fewer physical relays, less wiring, and other improvements that reduce physical complexity. However, it will cost more to replace a failed ECU because that ECU will manage a lot more of the system than vehicle ECUs do today. Overall, the time to diagnose and solve a problem *could* be significantly lower…if everything is engineered well, including the diagnostic and maintenance manuals and software.
It’s starting to get that way for me. If I didn’t have that warranty she would have been gone years ago.I know you have warranty but the constant issues would be driving me nuts
Oh my husband keeps saying get something new but I’m stubborn and I don’t want any timing issues delaying me getting my Scout.Starting to think you should put the continued $100’s toward a used EV for next 1-1/2 to 2 years and become an EV expert before your Scout arrives. My value is about $12k on the truck according to KBB. Which made it really hard when I got a quote for $7k to replace the transmission. 4th gear is slipping, but I’ve managed to baby it between shifting from 3rd to 5th and it has been working. Not sure I want to dump $7k into a truck that’s only worth shy of double that. And it has somewhere around 160k miles on it.My bolt is a baby with its mileage but it chews pavement everyday, I just hope it will still have a good trad value by the time BEV Terras start rolling
