Donut labs is an interesting companyThese are some very bold claims for new battery technology.
No I think it was a different one. Autopian or something like that if I am remembering correctly.Isn’t InsideEVs the site that printed all the stuff about Scout delaying one or the other of the power trains?
100%. They aren’t all terrible but they are all in sales in an industry that is infested with sharks so I’d give that a yes. The good realtors can’t seem to survive-unfortunatelyDoes this include realtors? Around here, there's a special level of hell reserved for realtors. They make organized crime look like clean, wholesome work by comparison.
Very little real information in the announcement. It would be interesting to see how many cubic inches these batteries contain compared to existing technology.

Interesting. What could that possible hold?I don’t know where to put this, here seems as good place as any.
The G Wagon has a backpack. More like a lunchbox actually.

Interesting. What could that possible hold?Looks like they have a tail light out.
I think the answer to the question is not much.
Googling it just kept turning up Spanish or Japanese articles so I couldn’t find out much with a simple search, but it kind of looks like portable charger storage.I think the answer to the question is not much.
Yes. I was just thinking. What am I missing here?I think the answer to the question is not much.
Showed this to my friend that works at a Mercedes Dealership. He said charging cable because Electric G Wagons are (Insert what you want here, because I guess the direct quote was removed.... Thanks SM Admin!)I think the answer to the question is not much.
Every. Day.I'm back from my holiday break, did I miss anything good?
Some notes:
- the IONNA chargers are open at Wawa. I want to see if I can snap a good pic where you can see both the IONNA and Tesla charging stations. As invested as I am in this community I'm not super in the weeds on charging types, I'm wondering if IONNA uses CCS which is why they decided to open in the same parking lot as NACS? Either way, pretty cool to have three ways to "fuel up" in the same spot.
- My wife's car (24 Volvo XC90) was in the shop for a few days (warranty repairs/inspection/our own logistics of getting it back) so we had a 26 (i think? the newest one) XC90 as a loaner for a few days. This model has the full touchscreen interface compared to the 24 which is kind of a hybrid on that front. Surprisingly easy to use and really responsive, but I do wish there were physical buttons. Her lease isn't up for another year so wondering what 27 will bring.
Still thinking about my Scout every day.
