Hello everyone! And HAPPY FRIDAY!!
With Scout Motors nearing production, I thought it would be cool to start a dedicated central thread to share all third party news, updates, and opinion pieces we come across.

As things ramp up, there’s going to be a lot of coverage coming out, and this could be a fun, engaging way for the Scout community to keep tabs on everything. Feel free to share content from:

• Articles from national, local, or automotive news outlets,
• Social Media posts (YouTube videos, Instagram reels, podcasts, etc.)

Simply attach a link to the article or video you have found that relates to Scout, give it a short intro so we know what it’s about, and feel free to include your own thoughts.

Excellent. I especially love this part: The electric vehicle maker is on schedule to roll its first round of test vehicles off the line by the end of the year.

That tells me most engineering is done and we're getting into assembly optimization. Always promising, and as such, I'm hoping for more details to come forth on the upcoming visualizer.

I'm not sure this thread is different enough from the news article thread though.

Actually I could see putting Scout related news in both places. That way if someone doesn’t want all the other news on all things automotive and only wants Scout news they can just come here.

That other thread is really long and very diverse. This one can just be SM only, I like it.

Kind of agree. Everyone knows the Etra, Extra thread. I thought at first read this was for third party manufacturers news like vendors and suppliers which would be an awesome thread and maybe that’s what this could be. Extra extra has years of single source but if another thread is needed go for it

Quick note: 'Third-party news' or 'content' means anything outside of the official press releases or updates from Scout Motors. We know where to find that information easily. And yes, the news article thread is great, it just seems a bit scattered. This thread is looking for all the outside news, articles, YouTube videos, opinion pieces being made about Scout by journalist, creators, fans etc..
