From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Rivian drove my new R1T to my house, I had a pre-appraisal amount for my trade-in (electronically) which was quite fair, and was in line with Carvana, Edmunds TMV, etc., then I signed papers / took delivery, and the Rivian guys drove off in my trade-in.
Seamless - and best experience I have ever had buying a new truck.
Hopefully Scout can do something similar.
Excellent. It would be nice if the trade could be handled in the state we live in so we could fly to SC to the factory to pick up our Scouts.
I think for those beyond -8 hours would be great. I’m not sure if I’d drive my car down or trade and fly. When I did the BMW experience I rented a car and drove and my mom had flown up like 1-1/2 weeks prior to visit us and other local family so it was a great road trip with memories. My mom refused to do the track stuff in my 3-series. The X5 off-road experience was more than enough for her
. But was a great memory. After that day we drove the 2-3 hours back to Myrtle Beach to drop her off. Then I road tripped home the whole way with my top down. Great memories and hope the Scout experience is just as memorable
That’s a wonderful memory! For us it’s about 800 miles so I would rather fly down and drive my Scout home.I think for those beyond -8 hours would be great. It would be fun if they had some sort of a package that included a shuttle from the airport, cabins or yurts on property we could stay at (or a close hotel if that’s not possible). A day of fun with an offroad course, meals and making new friends and then we all head out the next morning after breakfast.

That’s how BMW was when I did it
Hotel stay in town after the picked us up at airport (returned rental there)
Got up to a European continental breakfast then drove us all to BMW museum/plant tour then across street to the X5 off-road experience. Then track for some basic training, proper mirror setup, wet skid track and the 180 reversers snap and go evasive driving. Then lunch at the cafeteria (was November so basically has a Thanksgiving style lunch then the last 4-1/2 hours was track time and pushing our vehicles to the limits.
I still hope Scout does something similar and will agree with you and continue manifesting treehouses and yurts on property for an overnight stay with a campfire style breakfast-maybe a campfire dinner the night before. That would really be an amazing experience. And I said once before-I know SM has an architecture team but I’ll volunteer my time to design the prototypes if they’d like.
