Respectfully disagree, why wouldn’t they have a price in mind and a date. You can’t set accurate deadlines if you don’t have an end date in mind and you can’t effectively order parts and design something if you don’t have a price in mind.No one knows about the actual dates, prices, etc. Probably not even Scout at this point. One thing that is true though is if there are significant delays, price increases, or feature reduction, then it could spell trouble for Scout.
Now could there be an unforeseen delay, sure. There always can, but like I have said before and I’ll say it again. I am 100% sure if SM could sell us all vehicles tomorrow they would. They will start selling just as soon as they can.
As for cost they continue to be consistent. Starting price around $60. We heard that at launch, I heard that at the presentation at Nats in June of 2025 and I heard that same number in Chicago in December of 2025. They saw what has happened to other brands that have raised prices above expectations. It’s never good.
