Rear spare is an option. If you go with 33”,s on the rims the spare will mount below and you save roughly 17-20”. Forget the exact depthSo bummed it’s not going to fit in my garage with the wheel on! It’s a lot bigger than my RAV4!![]()

17" difference with tire. 207.9" vs 190.9". Has it been determined if the Harvester nullifies mounting the spare underneath? It would be impressive if they both fit.Rear spare is an option. I don’t know if they ever said at the reveal but I feel like they implied the base wheel (18”) would fit under but I genuinely don't recall the final answer to that question. Maybe @Jamie@ScoutMotors can add some clarity to this item17" difference with tire. 207.9" vs 190.9". Has it been determined if the Harvester nullifies mounting the spare underneath? Isnt the tire carrier removable? If you get the 35”? I feel like ive seen photos of it off the traveler.Rear spare is an option. If you go with 33”,s on the rims the spare will mount below and you save roughly 17-20”. Forget the exact depth
The rear carrier is definitely an option. My recollection at reveal is a 35 would fit under the BEV but no answer was given about Harvester. The carrier-if I recall can handle up to 37 but the threshold where the spare can’t fit under was never defined other than the larger spare on Terra would need to be bed mounted. Sorry my brain’s gotten a bit foggy on all thatIsnt the tire carrier removable? If you get the 35”? I feel like ive seen photos of it off the traveler.
When you say “mount below”, is that inside or outside the vehicle? Ie, under the floor or pulled up underneath?Rear spare is an option. If you go with 33”,s on the rims the spare will mount below and you save roughly 17-20”. Forget the exact depth
I've had the same wonderment, and I don't believe we've been told that yet. When you say “mount below”, is that inside or outside the vehicle? Ie, under the floor or pulled up underneath?
Yeah-was never fully clarified. Just told it would be under.I've had the same wonderment, and I don't believe we've been told that yet.
Both have their pros and cons, so I'm curious to see what they come up with.
Was that riding in the bike lane?Saw this in London and couldn’t help myself. Just thought-wow-a purpose built vehicleView attachment 5886

It was parked for a delivery. Driver hopped back in but I don’t know which lane he was driving in. But it was so cool. Like a cartoon vehicleWas that riding in the bike lane?
The only reason I asked is, take a look at the "Handlebars" not steering wheel. Clown car for sure.It was parked for a delivery. Driver hopped back in but I don’t know which lane he was driving in. But it was so cool. Like a cartoon vehicle
It’s like a kei truck. That’s adorable!Saw this in London and couldn’t help myself. Just thought-wow-a purpose built vehicleView attachment 5886
I’m a big fan of small, last-mile delivery vehicles. We desperately need them in downtown Charleston. Instead we have more tourists than ever and tractor trailer delivery trucks on European city size streets.Saw this in London and couldn’t help myself. As compared to my 2017 Land Rover Discovery, the Traveler is actually a few inches shorter *without* the spare tire carrier, but a fair bit longer with it. This will make it difficult to fit in my garage without removing the carrier or doing some serious garage Tetris.
The Traveler is about 2" inches taller, though not clear if that includes any EAS on the Traveler, and it is a couple inches wider than my Discovery, both with and without mirrors, again probably requiring some garage re-arrangement and necessitating backing out of my garage before passengers can get in, as well as always folding mirrors.
Even with my EAS in 'access height' (all the way lowered) in my Disco, it's a fair bit of a climb in. I added rock sliders with tree bars, which makes this easier for my 5'2" mother to climb in and out of.
Notably the wheelbase of the Traveler is 5" longer which impacts break over angle, recovered somewhat with slightly higher body ground clearance on 35" tires, but with solid axles I'm not sure the ground clearance below the pumpkin(s) will compare - 4W independent suspension on 33" tires with EAS lifting has gotten me over obstacles that thwarted friends' lifted 4Runners and a Raptor, both on 35's, even when I get one corner in the air. They had to take different lines with different risks to clear.
Looking forward to seeing one in person. The R1S is quite large and my point of reference....
