Oof, big water main break in our area with 100k-200k people without water. All three of the area hospitals are without water and need that water for air conditioning as well, so that really sucks. Luckily, the weather is nicer than usual with 85* and low humidity. The break was found in an isolated area, 40' below ground, under a pond. Most businesses are closed.
Makes you realize the fragility of the infrastructure. If this coincided with a power outage as well, it'd get nasty in a hurry.

I hope they get it fixed quickly and get everyone back to being hydrated!
I noticed the problem yesterday morning when I got to work, so about 28 hours ago and it sounds like they're pumping and digging, but not yet at the break. I'd love to know how they figured out where the specific break was. Ground-penetrating radar?
That or a divining stick which they still use in PA and those guys must be wickets or sorcerers because what they can do with a stick is nothing short of amazing
So my son and I went to an event at a local jewelry store today.
When we drove up they had some beautiful old Broncos in front.
Also a new one that they have modified.
This one was for sale for $250,000
And this one was a SEMA build that was stretched to be a 3 row. He said after SEMA it sold for $400,000 and now it’s up for sale for $300,000

Congrats! Can I ask why you went Blazer over Equinox? Do you need the space? My understanding is that (aside from the Blazer SS) it has the same battery and drivetrain as the Equinox but it's larger so it is slower/shorter range. I'm looking to get my son an Equinox EV when he turns 16 in 6 months but I'm eager to learn about people's decisions.
Need? Sometimes, but really it came down to price, availability with features, and personal preference for the style. It’s the AWD with the 82kwh pack, so even less on the range than the other one they had, still for the occasions we need to travel and use DcFc it’s a reasonable upgrade from the bolt. The unfortunate part it was a fleet vehicle so it’s only got 30k miles on it, but various Knicks and chips that I probably won’t ever get around to fixing, but it rides wonderfully
The look alone was a big seller to me. My family has always been in Chevy with the occasional other US brand + Toyota, but the Honda and Acura versions of the blazer just don’t look right to me, the car will hopefully get me through to my scout
