Thats VWs fault for keeping Hybrids and ICE form vehicles its not Rivians fault that VW is struggling to deliver, maybe it has something with mismanaging the finances of the company. EREVs are highly more efficient than a traditional hybrid. And they would then be able to use the architecture.Saw an article on problems with VW and Rivian integration yesterday. Honestly, I was not overly concerned with what it pointed out. 1) VW group wants to maintain ICE product lines - which the Rivian architecture is not designed for. 2) VW group is continuing the infighting between lines that they are already know for - so it makes a common architecture difficult when every part of the group wants to keep their unique differences. So VW group might say we need a common architecture - but every line is crying about wanting their own architecture to keep them distinguishable.
Scout might be a little more immune to some of it, as they are not really wanting to maintain an ICE version. They also don't have a legacy of unique differences they are fighting to maintain - they are only trying to make a unique design and pull as much from the VW group toolbox as possible to do it.

If there isn’t a thread, you should start a thread that’s help me decide BEV or EREV where people can put their driving situation and get feedback. There’s so many threads I don’t remember if we have one that says that. Anybody?I still go back and forth and change my reservation a few times every other month or so, really cant decide.
