Oh that’s excellent! The last number I remember hearing was 75,000 at that meeting in Blythewood that someone recorded and posted. I think that was back in February. So that’s about double in 6, 7 months. Wonderful news!
Thats a pretty good number for a startup. That has some history behind it. Thats about a 1/4 of the total amount of IH scouts made.

Absolutely. By the time of Job 1 they could have have a couple years of production already covered, and then some.

“We’re not naïve to global markets. But I’m not going there,” Keogh told reporters. “I have a factory to build. I have a car to engineer. I have timelines to hit. And when that gets done, the day this car rolls down the factory line, come visit us and I’ll tell you more about Australia.”
Good for Scott, sticking up for the company and for getting the North America Market settled first.

Funny, vacationed in S. Africa a few years ago. Google says they drive on the left side of the road, but I never noticed it. All the vehicles I road in were left side driving (Toyota Land Cruiser truck and SUV), and I could have sworn all the roads were drive on the right hand side. Big country, and we stayed rural and Dutch colonized areas (rather than British or German). Driving on the left side of the road is more of a British thing.
most of us think we are the only ones that drive on the right side of the road, with LHD, when really alot of countries do it too.
Strange. I was there exactly one year ago. The two Toyotas (Fortuner, Corolla Cross) I rented were were both RHD and on every road and city people drove on the left. I was in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Mbombela, Graskop, Sabie, Paarl, and Stellenbosch. Even the Ford Mustangs are RHD.
While I flew into Johannesburg, we headed west out of town within minutes (all the time in Johannesburg was freeways or toll roads). Other than the tribal lands (huge shanty villages) outside each small town - honestly it felt a lot like S. Texas (well, the S. Texas I grew up in, even most of the cows looked familiar). I spent 10 days offroading about 60 miles out of Kimberley. Nothing quite like offroading most of the day, then coming back to a camp with an award winning chief - ate good that trip. Did go through a bit of biltong withdrawal afterwards though.
