CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Next I tried it out on Mountainside. That black panel on the tailgate sure does standout when the vehicle is not a dark color. I’m definitely tire carrier all the way.

Okay, I never thought I would say this, but the PBY looks pretty good! These vehicles really do carry colors so well!

Has anyone seen the Pacific Mist color in person, or was that a color only shown online? I can’t remember if they ever showed that color on the traveling concept models? If it ever was shown on the concept vehicles and someone saw it, I’m curious what your thoughts were. Was it more blue, silver or a good mix?

Oh yay! I’m glad you like PBY! I’m so hopeful they actually make it.

Yes Pac Mist is a real color that was on the Traveler. I have seen every color but the Traveler in white.

We saw the Traveler in Pac Mist in Chicago last December. I like the blue that it is, but wish it skewed darker blue and the light blue was the the lighter color in certain lights. If that makes sense.

Depending on the light it can look green or silver.

This is my thread with all the pictures my husband took of the Pac Mist Traveler.

I went through my thread and pulled out some examples of how the color shifts.

Thank you for sharing this and taking the time to look through photos for good examples! It is interesting how it somewhat changes colors based on the lighting. Still yet, it’s such a unique color and I’m heavily debating on picking this color assuming it makes it to the production vehicles:)

Of course, anytime. It’s definitely unique.

Saw it in person. In the shade it is the perfect color blue/teal and looks amazing. Due to the 4-stage paint in brighter light the silver undertone and flake becomes very prominent and can wash out to almost look silver. It’s a chameleon color and looks great. I just wish it would look blue 100% of the time

NYC in daylight sun and shadow for comparison

I swear someone posted on here somewhere that someone at Scout told them that if the color made it to production, it would be fewer stages (because that many stages during production is expensive) so it's less likely to shift and would stay blue more (if not all) of the time. That's what I recall, but I may be recalling incorrectly.

I recall the same thing and if anyone did it would have been @J Alynn

I know we’ve already stated it’s a multi-stage finish, but I thought it would good to share the below screenshot describing the color…

Yes. It was a passing comment at Charlotte that some of the colors, if/when they make the cut will likely be 3-stage paint rather than 4-stage so less depth and color changing aspects so-in my mind- that means if PAC Mist makes the cut I would think it would stay bluer looking rather than silver looking
