From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Which is an interesting choice. I rarely use the friction brakes on my Silverado. The regen setting I have it on is strong enough to bring it to a full stop in a reasonable distance in most cases. And when I need to stop quickly, the blended braking is quite effective. I haven’t had to emergency brake, especially not while towing, so I don’t know their performance in that case. The only thing better than that would be Scout orange!
Did someone say orange Brembos?? I cooked the stock clearcoat off the red, then they faded into a pinkish color, so they got stripped and powdercoated orange! Mid-install, rear calipers:
I've seen this "complaint" a lot. Scout is currently showing us what you can do with options and specs, not what you have to buy. Eventually you'll be able to buy the base model, but I'd be surprised if that were at launch.
I'm really curious how many of these types of comments are from bought bots vs real people. Same question I have with most of the internet nowadays...
The comments are likely made by people who wouldn't be buying one anyhow, regardless of the starting price or options.
