What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.
Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

I keep telling my husband we will keep the Scout and the Supra until we are too old to get down into the Supra and up into the Scout and then we get the champagne colored small SUV that 85 year olds drive. No offense to 85 year olds driving champagne colored SUVS.
I must be tired. My mind immediately went to wandering about the functionality of an “automatic prank feature”. Combine it with Easter eggs and the possibilities are endless

Please don’t label our Scouts with “4x4”, “off-road”, “AWD”, “EV” etc. these badges make vehicles (cough cough Tesla) look cheap.
We know what Scout stands for and what they are capable of. We don’t need to broadcast to the world its an EV or EREV with dual motors etc.
The Harvester badging is tasteful and subtle. Let the vehicle speak for itself.

I agree with no badging. At the very least have an option for no badging, I was able to select what badging I wanted on one of my former vehicle.
Just what’s on it currently and that’s it. Nothing else.

My Wrangler still has a key. Going from key to nothing would be really weird.
I could be wrong but I thought it had a start button. I just looked at my pictures from Nats and there’s a button on the lower right of the middle of the steering wheel. Isn’t that a start/stop button?

I agree. Most of my cars have push to start. The only one that doesn't is the ol' ford. And god do i love hoping in and twisting its key to fire it up along with the smell of gas. Thats a feature i asked Jamie for a while back was a scent cartridge. @Jamie@ScoutMotors was that that ever give to the CMF team?
Honestly, after having an EV truck with no start/stop button, I don't know what purpose it would serve (other than to start the Harvester generator while parked perhaps?). Would love to understand what this start/stop button is supposed to do.
Perhaps the pure BEV will not have a start/stop button? That would make more sense and would also be my personal preference, as there is simply nothing to start or stop once you unlock or awaken the BEV and get in... You can literally just shift to "D" then drive off.

For me as a non-EV owner that’s just such a weird concept. But it makes sense when you explain it that way. Thanks.
