Most Iconic Location(s) for Scout Ads

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

If there was one iconic location for SM to release the first production advertisement that represents everything about what Scouts are-where would it be and what would the activity/scenario be to convey the Scout Community, Scouts go first, 8 day a week, etc….

Being based in South Carolina I could see it being a Terra on the farm wrapping up the day, loading the family for a trip to Charleston in the city for a dinner then off to a beach shack to set up an evening on the beach with a bonfire. I think something like that shows Made in America, work vehicle- the 8-day a week tie in and then city life and a bit of adventure while showing the electric capabilities of lighting up a beach night. Just my thoughts. One in PA with Philly (city) to rural Lancaster county to Gettysburg would be patriotic and cover similar things but I think the Ode to SC is the best kick off ad approach

Some of our greatest assets in this country are our National Parks and you can't get more American and Scoutsy than taking your vehicle and visiting them. IMO an ad campaign focused around visiting these parks would be a no brainer. It's on brand, it'll look stunning, and it's showing stuff owners can actually go do themselves.

100% This.

I would recommend Canyonlands, but there’s at least one iconic trail that the new Scout is probably too wide for, so it probably shouldn’t be part of the campaign.

When we were moving across country we ended up on Route 66 for a bit. We came across this Conoco Station in Shamrock, Texas. I think it would be great if they had ads with Scouts diving all along Route 66 and going to all those roadside attractions that are across the country. View attachment 7643
While that Scout is plugged into a wall outlet 😀

If we are talking Dunkin' & New England, this pretty much takes the cake for Iconic ORV spots.
Tough to beat the Cape Cod National Seashore at Sunset this time of year.
Grab a cooler, some surfboards or surf rods, let a little air out of those BFG's & pop that Terra into into Soft Sand Mode.
