What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Fold down third row. This could be rear facing smaller seats for kids/smaller adults, but having the ability to seat more people for certain occasions would be huge in my book for the Traveler - to that end, combine rear-facing foldaway third row seats with a front bench and you create a ton of flexibility for what I already see as a super flexibile platform (especially in the harvester edition).

Welcome to the community! This has been a frequent ask, but will not happen in the Traveler model. Scott, the CEO, has mentioned in multiple interviews that one of the next models they are looking at would be potentially be a three row, a Travelall if you will.

Welcome again!

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. Great suggestion. Enjoy your time and the search button is your friend-3-1/2 years of info and nonsense so it can be a great tool. Enjoy the forum

We have a small farm, and need a truck that can do farm things - pulling hay trailer, going to the woods with a splitter and coming back with wood. The hay trailer means that adjustable pedals are important - a short person drives the field, a tall person takes the load to the barn. Yeah, adjustable pedals don't seem farm, but it is needed. Second, a way to protect the cab and load past the bed depth - attached is an idea. Third... and this is just a whimsical thought - is farm truck look paint.

Re: built in air compressor, I bought one of these (well the tool only, I already had the batteries and if I did not already have the batteries I would have compared the same offering from other brands)

Love it.
Link shows an error on my end, but I'm assuming it's a small inflator. I've got a Milwaukee that I use all the time. This time of year when it can be in the 30's or 90's depending on the day/weather, I adjust my tire pressures a LOT to keep them optimized for handling. Definitely easier than on-board air and having to route a hose.

Doh sorry. Yes, small battery powered inflator. I never need to find a gas station to fix low tire pressure again

Let's see if this link works:

Pod Lights as an option would be nice. I love my pod lights on my Bronco, we don't have many street lights where i live, so they are useful for finding critters waiting to jump out and smash you. Hoping the pod lights are an option.

Me too. I love my A Pillar KC lights on my Wrangler. I asked Gemini to see what it could come up with. And a little PBY for good measure.

Never really thought about it, but that shoulder line does make a really nice point to change paint. The bottom character line of the door would also lend itself well to having the middle of the body be a different color. Nice!

I was driving around the other day & was thinking about how much listening to music has changed since I started driving. Streaming is great because you have access to everything - but you also have access to EVERYTHING. Algorithms either feed you what they want to, or keep you stuck in a loop of what you know, so finding new stuff is tricky.

So where can we stick a CD player in the dash? LOL. I hear physical media is making a comeback with the youths anyway - so keep the next generation of Scout owners in mind.

Why stop at CD, let’s get a cassette player. Taylor swifts latest album was sold on CD, vinyl and cassette!

I remember trying to fast forward through a song I didn’t like on a cassette in my car. Fast forward. Count to five. Stop, play. Not far enough. Repeat. Am I on side A or B?

These kids have no idea how easy they got it!

While I understand where you're coming from - I definitely don't want to have a CD case taking up space again. Why not play from your list(s) on your phone?

Hey - just saw that you're from WA, did you see that the Scouts will be displayed there on May 9th?
