If the sound is selectable or able to be turned off I’m all in for sounds. I do like how BMW is set up is with them.

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

What is the one thing you almost always have in your pocket? Your phone. Although I have all of these different keys as options, the phone is what I use most of the time: https://stories.rivian.com/unlock-your-vehicle To access a locked Rivian, you don't need to have the phone out of your pocket or the FOB out of your pocket, since proximity sensing enables unlock. If it is freezing out and I am home, I will open the app in the house and turn-on heat, heated steering wheel and heated seats from the app (or A/C if baking in the summer). It takes exactly 3 taps on the phone to do all of that with the App open. I usually take the fob with me when I will be away from the truck for any extended period of time. The FOB does serve a purpose. I will say that while the Rivian FOB looks cool with the carabiner design, it is useless unless it is in your hand (the buttons were not designed to be tactile enough to be useful, and its hard to tell whether you are on the front or the back of the FOB when it is in your pocket). I think they tried some improvements with the Gen 2 FOB, but it really needs a re-design.
Of course all of this has nothing to do with "starting the car," in the traditional sense of the term "start".
Rivian's camp mode is great for more than camping. I use it when parked at a field, or when in a spot where you want to go stealth and dim the lights (interior and/or exterior). Camp mode has settings that can be changed based on what you are doing in the truck. Its nice to have it.
Of course all of this has nothing to do with "starting the car," in the traditional sense of the term "start".

I'm all for the key fob! Much easier to throw in my pocket during a hike or bike ride when my phone stays in the car. Also, please be mindful of safety features for the women (especially) out there. I don't want to have my head down on my phone while walking to my car at night. Would love approach lights as a safety feature as well!
Could use an astronomy mode, faint red lighting only.
The camp/stealths mode along with pet mode are a must have.
You can do that! Turn off displays / Activate Red interior accent lighting
A lot of those different modes were shown in those videos from CES if I’m remembering correctly.
