From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Same for me. I was going to trade in my Tesla MYP next year for a Rivian, but I'll wait for the Scout. I grew up on a farm and we had an old Scout, don't remember which version. Also learned to drive a tractor on an old International Harvester 544.
I have a small farm and have been wanting an EV truck for a while. Ordered an f150 lightning but ended up not being able to purchase it due to other life events.
I don't have a connection to scout vehicles, but this is the vehicle that I have been looking for. 6+ seats, towing capacity, range, off-road abilities. My concern is that it's going to have to have a massive (heavy) battery to achieve the range.
I am back and forth between the Terra and the Traveler. The pickup format is useful, however my wife really loves that 'cabana' roof on the Traveler.

Cost is a big part of what made me reserve the EV and not the Harvester drivetrain.
Terra pure electric for me. No need for the range extender. The charging network everywhere I want to go is robust enough already.
I’m worried about it too. Hoping battery costs do come down by then.
I have been a Tahoe guy for a long time and this is the first electric SUV that looks like it could be an actual replacement! Very Excited. 3" shorter than a Tahoe but same height and I am guessing same width with the mirrors out. (91.6" looks very wide considering a Hummer H1 is 85.6" wide)

A few reasons it won’t be 80k
-no “stealerships” involved
-as batteries tech improves, cheaper manufacturing becomes. There’s a battery that uses no mined materials that is said to be better than any battery seen before with faster charging and better life overall.
-hopefully by 2027 the market has gone back to pre-COVID levels.

I know Scout Motors would prefer the conversation to occur here, but the ScoutEVForum has a larger community base and is well ahead of compiling meaningful data available to future owners.

I did traveler hybrid but could change to reg ev depending on price jump. I hope that info comes in, the 500 miles is a lot better for me with traveling but is it worth a huge jump ??
I ordered the Traveler Harvester and my husband ordered the Terra Harvester. Gotta have one of each!
