Modular add-ons

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Miya0118!
Keep add on’s simple by making them modular. Each system has its place, no trim levels, complete customization at the hand of the buyer.

When you go direct to consumer and don’t have quite the same mechanic network, a modular system will help with not only customization but repairs as well. This doesn’t necessarily mean it can be utilized on major components but could help with other features and functions.

My daughters Lexus IS came with them (they are black but very nice-but agree not worth the cost) and she still has older iPhone with the other connector so I took them because they look damn good. I’d pay $25-$35 for scout orange cables-pretty sure I’ve said that before or blue and orange braided would be cool too. Otherwise save your first aid kits for somebody bleeding out
I agree $25 to $35 for some nice heavy duty Scout cables. Not $70!

“Somebody bleeding out”
Doesn’t that tie back to a previous post here somewhere???

Gotta keep people guessing. But to @cyure ’s point-bandaids and neosporin for $60-seriously. That said they should offer a zombie apocalypse survival kit for fun or maybe the Terra gear box can be ordered with different exterior graphics that are all humorous

A fun zombie apocalypse survival kit sounds like an excellent inclusion with purchase. Here is my suggestion for contents:

You know that you don't need to wait for Scout to offer them if you want Orange braided UCB-C charging cables?
Those are nice. Perhaps I should consider but now that I stole my daughter’s I’m good for a bit. But now makes me think of SM offers an at home charger it should have orange cord insulation just to stand out

I got one for Xmas from former boss and that would be great. Had a hatchet wrapped with paracord, a fold up shovel, a can of spam a well written survival guide book and something else, maybe a knife? Ina wood crate and wrapped in cool graphics. Was a fun novelty
