HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Happy Thanksgiving Peeps! I looked to see if there was a Thanksgiving thread and there was one from 2022 and one from 2023. This has really been a long adventure for some of you and I’m so glad to be around for the ride.

Just think, in a few years owners will be driving their Scouts all over the country to visit family and friends at the holidays.

I am very thankful for this community and the people it has brought into my life that I now have the pleasure of calling my friends.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Eat too much, watch a parade and some football and most of all spend time with the people we love

Great future picture! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving!

Although, I must admit. A few things.

I really, really dislike the parades. Not thanksgiving parades in particular… just all parades :P.

I… don’t actually enjoy traditional thanksgiving dinner either. I’ve never liked turkey. I’ve tried it baked, basted, fried, smoked, burried, and about any other way you can think of making it. It’s fine, just not something I crave. I also don’t really like stuffing, or cranberry anything. Or yams :P. Or football.

But, I love thanksgiving, and it doesn’t bother me when others enjoy the things they enjoy. Just at our house, we don’t do the parade (my kids don’t even know it exists), don’t watch any sports (my kids don’t know watching sports is a thing), and we don’t eat turkey (Tri Tip ftw!), and I just don’t eat any of the stuffing/cranberry/yams :p.

Happy Thanksgiving all, no matter how you celebrate :).

All the other stuff is stuff. It’s being with loved ones. My kids are both in heath care. Some are celebrating on Sunday. The day doesn’t matter as much as being with the people we love. Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay now hear me out. My grandma used to make potato chip cookies. I was looking for a fun cookie recipe to make for my son to take tonight. He’s a ICU nurse and works graveyard.

Look what I found! A recipe for chocolate chip potato chip cookies! If you like sweet and salty these are the bomb!

We do deep fry in back up (bacon grease) I strongly recommend this…

My daughter doesn’t come home from college because she doesn’t like Thanksgiving dinner. I’d do tri-tip in a heartbeat
