Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Well the tagline is killer-I rarely give Jeep kudos but that deserves a big a$$ bonus for the creator of that. “Every hero has an origin….” Super tagline and well played Jeep. Otherwise it’s a wrangler with some stickers and a capt America tire cover. Anything special on the interior?
If memory serves, they did something with Levi's for their bicentennial CJ 50 years ago, so it'd be cool if they did something like that again.

Honestly a paint job like that would be killer about 1 day a year in a parade to me...
Not so sure about the other 364!
The red white and blue Bronco at my local ford dealer is still on the lot... It was on the lot last summer and buried in snow all winter!
I'm sure ford is probably selling it for $75k+

cars don't sell when the price is almost double the MSRP

Same! That Bronco just sits out front closest to the main road. It’s not going anywhere at that price and they aren’t discounting it enough for as long as it’s been sitting.

I just saw one of those on a used lot next to Manheim auto auction and I’m sure it will sit for a while. A little too bold for me. Truthfully the freedom wrangler is a bit too much for me too but it will undoubtedly sell quickly

I don't what the average bronco price by you and R1TVT is, but down by me the average price is $53k.

But also the Ford dealership that My friends go to and that i will occasionally pull up at in the old ford for the technicians to check it out. They are really competitive and try to keep their prices lower than the rest of Ford dealerships in the state.

And just like every other Jeep "special edition" that amounted to nothing more than a paint job and a graphics package, they're going to be sold out at a +20% dealer markup.
This. Each version of the Wrangler used to be distinctly different. Now they release a "special edition" every other month that is nothing more than paint and a different color cloth insert on the seat. I just don't understand how they continue to sell as well as they do.

Maybe they're talking about a Stroppe edition Bronco? MSRP is $70K.

Ford recently brought back "Ford Employee Pricing" which typically had discounted prices on current inventory, however the Stroppe I been tracking was listed at 66k prior to the Ford Employee Pricing and now listed at 71k at my local dealer. Because of this promotional pricing, it seems it may have actually increased pricing based on the isolated example and used more as a marketing strategy and previously it did drastically lower pricing but the previous discounts may have been greater than the new promotion.
