We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Being that Rivian is next door to you you should lease an R2 and use it until the scout comes out. Would get you totally ready for the Scout and knowing architecture, etc. is being shared you would have a leg up when the Scouts do arrive
I never made a reservation and they have so many reservations by the time it’s my turn I have a feeling the Traveler will be out.
Plus I want to be able to get my Scout as soon as possible when it becomes available. I don’t want to be in the middle of a lease and have to wait.
And they would probably be the first brand making trucks to make the model number meaning R1-R2 go up but tow capacity down.
Unlike the typical as the number gross the capacity grows.
I have an early R2 reservation but I'm thinking about watching what the market does and potentially flipping it. However, if any of my "friends" want to buy it or spec it for themselves I'd be willing to lessen my commission on it a bit lol!

And logically that makes sense. But as practical as you are, I am completely the opposite. Cars are very emotional for me and there’s nothing I love more than my Wrangler.
Now if she dies and my MOPAR warranty kicks in and I get paid out then I will be asking you what to buy in the meantime but unless that happens I just can’t get rid of her.
