A high profile guy just bought a Tesla through DTC, maybe we see some action on making DTC respected.

I’m sitting in London this week seeing tons of jags. Even the horrid example made while Ford owned them. While I think the new jags don’t read anything like classic Jags, I do find them interesting. I’m curious what the production model will evolve into. I still agree-shame on Jag but curiosity kills the cat
Shame on Jag

Can't say I have ever heard of something like this ever occurring. This is certainly a way to build goodwill for a brand.
Luckily BMW will be making their 800v battery in house. And I'm sure they will figure out a supplier for now. Maybe we see PowerCo start to pick ip the pace with factory construction. This battery company has been working with Volkswagen, Volvo, Audi, Porsche, and BMW.

Maybe BMW and Volvo buy itNorthvolt also offers a program called Revolt to recycle valuable metals from batteries and return them to manufacturing processes. This initiative aims to reduce the demand for raw materials, minimize the environmental impact of batteries, and decrease operational costs.
And their production is powered by 98% fossil-free energy. Let's hope they can come back.
Maybe BMW and Volvo buy it
Well is BMW buys them they can control everything and make it work.I don't think it will be BMW. BMW canceled a $2 billion contract in June 2024. Because Northvolt could not deliver on time.
