The upper tailgate will probably have a filler plate that gets latched in. and the swing hinge area will probable just get caped off.

A friend posted this on their instagram a few days ago. He is probably posting from California, but as his username implies, he travels around a lot so I'm not sure where he was for this one.
This is a non negligible reason to want Scout Motors BEVs to succeed. It is so nice not having to pay weekly attention to this prices now that my daily driver is an EV, and being in CA, I'm working on moving to being able to do a lot of charging from roof mounted solar with battery backup.
Do the po-po give you five minutes to replace your tire and get on the run again? That hasn't been my experience (because I've never run from the police) As always YMMV.

True story I was told.
Motorola tested their pagers for vibration resistance by giving to the motorcycle police in Florida, who were using Harley Davidson motorcycles at the time (maybe they still are, we should ask Dave Barry).
Not from what I remember. They have always been pricey.
