The only way to go. Sometimes You might have to wait a while to get a build slot. But, it's worth it to me. When we purchased the first year of the new Ford Maverick Hybrid we waited 14 months to take delivery.

We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. Some good points made. We drive a 2016 Jeep Patriot. It was the least complicated vehicle we could fine that met our needs. It does have power windows. Unfortunately it’s not going to make it to 2028-29. All kind of sensors giving up the ghost. Least complicated must also mean cheaply made. Anyway looking for something to get me through 3 years. Not much out there. Build quality, ease of daily maintenance of todays vehicles are great. But they complicate them with all these add on’s.

Sensors in new vehicle are generally your friend. Informing you how your vehicle is performing. Long warranties are a better friend.
