Mirror markers are legal requirement. Most new cars have them.

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

I just don't know if the signature on the side of the mirror will make it. But it might because that entire part could probably be made in one piece

I think if they do end up going with a warmer light color for the DRL's instead of solid amber I think the light will remain but just be 2x brighter when signaling.
Additionally I pretty much begged for the hood tie downs to make production as well. I remember Jaime saying something about making sure the hood is reinforced at the mounting locations JIC which of course comes with extra cost. I would be cool to just have them there for aesthetics or very light duty but then all the car YTer's would complain about the them not being functional as if every person in America uses tie downs

They had a SC specific shirt for sale at the experience center. Had to buy one. I’m going to have a ridiculous number of Scout shirts.
Oh, I know there was a question about how far out the rock sliders stick out past the body.

Don't be sucked in by the fabulous photography! You want color, remember that.
The interior is just amazing. I did express to the team how much I love the two tone seats and how we definitely need that as an option in our Scouts. Regardless of the color of the seats, I want black/dark flooring.

I like how interior is a carry over but still looks good with that ‘paint’ color on the exterior

I would prefer no hood tie-downs, as I've never had a need to tie anything to a location on the hood.
Also, and with an EV, I would be even less inclined to put anything on the roof.
I get a lot of snow and ice in the winter here (build-up of ice + windshield = bad).
Unused tie-downs add unnecessary drag.
If they do come out, I want an option to delete them.
Lastly, I can't remember the last time I have ever seen any vehicle with tie-downs actually use them.
One way to implement them (that would be cool for an OEM to consider on a top-end model) would be as flush mounts. Same way boat manufacturers make everything flush (lights, cleats, etc.)... A tie-down is just a cleat, and with a Frunk, this type of recessed tie-down would be easier to implement with no engine underneath.

I would never tie anything to them, but I sure do like how they look.

The Traveler is tall but at 5’7” I didn’t have a problem getting in without a step. With the A pillar grab bar it will be even easier.

PBY!!! Not terrible with the light roof. Better than I thought.
But look how good she looks with a black roof and the roof rack. And the tire wheel combo! I know it will drop my range, but boy is that gorgeous.
Then I keep saying maybe I don’t want anything on the roof like how she looked at launch. I don’t think I like it. Maybe with a more urban/street tire and wheel combo she would look better, but this just no.
She at least needs rails with a tire that aggressive.

I drove an Ioniq 6 for work and I gotta say even with the limited buttons, I am definitely excited for the Scout. Trying to figure out what was where on the UI, even as simple as that, was cumbersome.
