Scout's comin' to Cambridge...Wicked pissah!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
OK, so if you haven't seen it before (and don't mind a few F-BOMBS) this will show you the true height of the Boston accent, with bonus chowdah head commentary from Jay and the "Baby Wheel".

You literally can't make this shit up.

If you have spent any time on the water in New England (which these knuckle heads clearly have not) you would know immediately that this is a very common creature in our local waters - a Mola Mola or "ocean sunfish".

This is hillarious:

Scoutsie (I think) previously posted this and that brought about some Wuh-stah stories and laughs in another thread…. And yes it is hilarious!

Listen! North Carolina can’t win. We have to win.

The map on Scout’s website points to Riverbend Park. There’s some kind of thing happening during the race called the Riverbender and there’s apparently some barbecue place and Playa Bowl (bleh, healthy! Boring!) selling food on one side and Viet Citron (Overpriced but really good) and some other place that I’ve already forgotten selling food on the other side and I guess for twenty bucks there are tickets to some area where there’s booze and drinks and other stuff, but I’m not clear what exactly this entitles you to or if you need a ticket to step into the park at all or if they hit you with an oar because you didn’t buy a ticket and have the nerve to think you can buy an $18 banh mi. I’m just not sure. But it’s festival rules, so it seems plausible.

I’m expecting you to be the local Scout guide since you are the local with longest tenure here on the forum. I was hoping you’d set up a grill in one of the parks near by and put out an entire Boston food spread for those of use on the forum visiting your fine city

I'm guessing hauling a grill around BOS or Cambridge might be difficult that weekend! This might be your answer!

"Looking for a more casual event hospitality experience? The The Riverbender (formerly Reunion Village) & FALS Bar venues offer food and beverage hospitality. The Riverbender is located just outside of Harvard Square next to the Weld Boathouse. The FALS Bar is located at the Finish Area Launch Site next to the main registration and awards compound at Attager Row."
And I believe it will be right by the Scout set-up:

Are these locations indicating where the first brick and mortar locations will be? Also do we know what the number in the red circle beside each city stands for?
Welcome to the community! This is one of, it not the most heavily debated question we all want to know the answer to here on the forums, and the one that keeps some of us up at night. :ROFLMAO:

We aren’t really 100% sure. There’s speculation that that could be how many locations in that area. I mean we are all just guessing at this point.

Welcome, if I haven’t already welcomed you.

Have you seen where they plan to have the vehicles. Most likely coming in from Alewife, so trying to figure best T stop. Where did you see this map?
