I really wonder what the rear end will look like? Why the indentation on the one but not the other? Why do the Terra and Traveler w/o the tire rack look different?

Well now I have a question. The indentation on the back of Mountainside is where the license plate will go. I think the license plate on the Trail-Ready is going on the tire carrier.

Where is the license plate going on the Terra?

Maybe. But, I'm curious what the production models will look like and will the addition of the spare tire swing gate change the whole back panel and lighting?

When I used to look up VINs for classic Broncos, one of my favorite parts was being able to uncover the vehicle’s history. You could determine the drivetrain, original delivery location, factory, original color, front and rear axles, transmission, build month, and more.

I’m hoping Scout Motors goes to a similar level of detail with their VINs. It would be really cool to be able to decode your Scout and learn more about how and where it was built if you were to buy used in the future.

Our main river caught on fire a few times, so a little creosote was the least of our problems!

Let’s start with the wheels/tires on Mountainside. So this is the 22” wheel that was on the Pacific Mist Traveler now paired with a 35” street tire. The center of this wheel is textured like a vinyl record, according to the SM employee that I spoke with.

Mountainside’s grill. I’m so glad they went with the name off center. I’m loving the uniqueness.

This interior definitely has a more refined feel to it.

Every steering wheel they have done to date has been two tone. I hope this is a good sign that this will be an option. I know the squircle can be controversial. I love it.

The oh Sh*t handle could be the handle of a designer bag with this fabric.

Now we took quite a bit of the backend from all different angles since this is the first time we are all seeing the Traveler backend with no tire carrier.

I love love love this color headliner. Doesn’t need to be Houndstooth, just a light color like this. The lighting around the glass looks amazing and I have to have a compass. It’s required.

Even though she’s fancy, Mountainside still has Molle panels and what looks like a track system in the back.
