From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Curious if you grabbed one of these of the Terra, I was wondering if the Cabana top roof was listed for the Terra
That’s the roof that’s currently on the Traveler. It’s called the cabana roof and it opens. The picture I posted above of the open top on the Traveler.

Absolutely!! Actually, I'd prefer some color, much like my Scout, so a darker navy blue would work too. My home office is a dark purple (even the ceiling) that works very well with the white bookshelves and white trim and natural oak flooring.
Now that I think about it, we have a lot of colors in our house. Most are boring beige, but we still hit the full ROYGBIV spectrum!
Cabana all the way! I've had a glass roof for the past 5 years and they get hot inside. Not to mention it makes the AC system work harder and thus puts additional strain on the cooling system which uses a lot more juice in a BEV. Of course the solution is to put a shade over it but that's a hassle and defeats the purpose of having a glass roof IMO.
