Close up of the Traveler details.

A comment and a question. I pointed out how the Traveler plaque doesn’t list a tow rating and mentioned the 5,000 pound kerfuffle. The are very aware of how unhappy everyone would be with only 5,000 pounds and they could not give me a number but the number will be more than 5,000 pounds.

Now to the question. What does “Targeted 100% gradeability mean”?

Any chance you have a close-up of the workshop location graphic? What do the numbers on each city mean? Is that phase 1, phase 2, etc?

Now I don’t remember seeing this information anywhere. A map of future Scout workshops. I was very happy to see Chicago listed. It does say subject to change in smaller lettering at the bottom, but this was nice to see.

Ha! That was my next one. Don’t know what the numbers mean unfortunately and it doesn’t have a legend that shows that.

Pretty much all. The Hummer is super wide and the Traveler is more narrow but I think it's just as tall especially with the roof rack. However, the compared with the R1S the Traveler is wider but the R1S feels longer and like there is so much more body than the Traveler. But one thing I loved so much about the Traveler was how long and flat the hood is.

That hood is part of what makes her feel so big to me. She’s as wide as an F-150. She’s a big girl.

I went and test drove a Toyota Sequoia for size. Essentially the Traveler is the same footprint width and length, just on the Traveler the last 17 inches are tire carrier not car like the Sequoia. Also one time I had a Chrysler Pacifica minivan as a loaner and same. Same footprint just last 17 inches on the Traveler is tire. And I was able to get that minivan in my garage so I will be able to get my Traveler in my garage.

Now I’m talking width and length. The height is going to depend on tires and offroad setup or not and rack or rails or nothing.

It’s a great color in person. Not sure it’s what I want but as a red tone the only color I’ve seen close was the Miata offered a terracotta color for like a year or two. Otherwise it’s got a bit more red than I think of terracotta but very close to that description

There were spotters and lots of hand motions.

When we saw the Traveler in Chicago she was at that hotel for a Governors Association dinner and they pushed her into the service elevator to go upstairs to a ballroom.

I asked this weekend how that went and he said it was really really tight but they got it done.

I'm not sure what I'm more surprised at: That the Traveler fit in an elevator, or, the Traveler was under the weight limit for the elevator. I guess I assumed that hotel service elevators weren't quite meant for vehicles.

Closest location for me is Seattle (500 miles). That’s disappointing.

That’s what I thought initially was phases, but then Vancouver is a 1 and I didn’t think they were going to Canada initially.

That thought lead me to this one- Any idea where the third brake light will be? If it's high on the hatch, you wouldn't be able to see it if you drive with the rear hatch open (if that's even possible). If you can't drive with the rear hatch open, how am I supposed to transport longer things? I definitely need to be able to transport long stuff, sticking out the rear.

You just have to have a "working" third brake light. Who says it has to be visible!

At least one in both Baltimore and DC. Just hope they are on my side of the cities.

I'm wondering if these numbers represents the number of shops within a certain mile radius; e.g. Los Angles 6 within a 100 miles radius, etc.? Maybe Jamie can clarify this...?

Hubs in the drivers seat. Now seats cannot be adjusted, we would not even touch any buttons even if they were adjustable honestly.

Haha, those solidify my solid roof choice. I'm dumb, I need metal all around me, just in case. The darker the cabin, the happier I am. Same with my office. I ditched my corner office with glass for an interior office with no natural light. I'm still trying to convince the owners to listen to Mick Jagger, but they say it'd be too dark...
