CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

I typically try and start my threads of an event in a logical order, but this trip was a little different.

So for all of you who have not been to Columbia this is Segra Park where the Columbia Fireflies play. The Scout Motors Experience Center is inside the park and to the right. There is a door that leads to the outside but for this event you had to have a ticket to the game to get in.

Love the nose. Everyone is going to have their preferred color, but they will all be a Scout.

This is the parking lot behind the stadium. The Supra (Thunder) looking great and the glass building on the left is where the experience center is.

You can see the Scout sign.

Hubs in the drivers seat. Now seats cannot be adjusted, we would not even touch any buttons even if they were adjustable honestly.

This is a really good question.

First of all getting in and out. She’s taller than my Wrangler. My Wrangler is on 33s and is not lifted.

Knowing that this is a concept I was trying to be so so careful and not hurt the Traveler on the way in or out. It was confirmed there will be an A-pillar grab bar so that will make it easier when I have my Traveler.

To get in I was able to get my hip up onto the edge of the seat and grab the other side of the seat to pull myself the rest of the way in and over.

The seat is not adjustable but it actually seemed to be in a good position for me. I like my arms to be more extended when I’m driving and I was able to do that.

At one pint the sun was right in front of me while I was sitting in the drivers seat and I put the visor down. It was helpful in blocking the sun without me having to adjust my head.

The windshield felt more open than the windshield on my Jeep. In my Jeep I feel like I see a lot of the dash in my lower view. I didn’t feel that way in the Traveler. I had a clear view of what was in front of me.

I could see to the end of the hood. I didn’t feel like it dropped off. The interior definitely felt more spacious than my my Wrangler interior.

I don’t think I have posted this one yet. Here’s another in the seat.

And I just have to say, I still cant believe that we were able to sit in the Traveler!!

The hubs sent me a bunch of pictures last night. This isn’t straight out the windshield but you all get the idea.

While the matte finish looks good on show vehicles, I'd never buy one. I want low-maintenance and the ability to run through a touch-free car wash on occasion without special care. The warm gray/silver color looks solid though, especially if those hints of brown carry through in-person and not just in the pictures. Based on the color of roof, I'm assuming it does. Speaking of, can't say that I'm a fan of the roof color without seeing it in-person.

Generally, not caring as much for the silver or white colors on the last few iterations. I much prefer colors, especially the colors shown on the earlier iterations.

Look at the G Wagons with Matte pain it costs a few grand to fix a 2 inch scratch not a dent a scratch

Speaking of color. Honestly they are beautiful in all the colors, it’s just what color speaks to the individual.

As a Wrangler owner anytime someone says removable and just plug the hole, I think leaking and rusting. That’s just me.

Have had wranglers and current new gen bronco. Leaks and rust are badges of honor. Means you loved and used your vehicle as it should be. After that first open cab downpour, what's a cuppa too tree drips? Wonder if the traveler will have any water resistance too. Especially with Cabana top option. (Need this thing to come closer to me, so I can ask Scout crew all my questions.)

A quick detour from the topic at hand. Verify your uber vehicle and driver before you walk up to random vehicle! Especially tell your daughters!!

We were leaving the hotel so it was about 1:45 am. We were in the car getting settled and I saw two girls in club wear holding hands walk up to the drivers window. My husband rolled down the window and they asked if he was the uber for Emily.

That’s a good way to get kidnapped or worse.

In those night out situations someone needs to have their wits about them so everyone gets home safely. Especially when it’s a group of college age young ladies.

Okay rant over. Just everyone be safe getting into Ubers.

Watching the Scout team maneuver the Traveler into place in the Experience Center was like watching a ballet. A scary ballet where one wrong move would result in damage to a $5 million concept vehicle.

They are experts at it and she was moved into place for the event.
