Wouldn’t you have holes where it’s mounted? It has to be attached somehow.

Plug the holes with the bolts, screws, washers, whatever once the rack is off. I would imagine the bolts will be hidden under snap-on plastic covers or trim pieces. Just wondering if the plan is to let us make these things as modular as a Bronco or Jeep. Sucks to get stuck with something you end up hating if the roof rack ends up being flaky. Or if I only want the rack on during hockey tourneys, or for a Christmas tree.

It would be a good choice for durability, of course, just not for flexibility/removability.

Oh yay you are going to Tennessee. I would love to go but gotta keep that savings account going for my Traveler. If you haven’t seen the OG Scouts they are awesome. All the colors of the rainbow and you can tell the owners really take pride in them. I would love to get a ride in one someday. That’s another dream I have in this process to owning my very own Traveler. And when I win the lottery that’s the first thing I’m buying!

I’m really glad I started my Scout events with Nats because it helped me to understand the heritage and the passion behind the brand.

I took a picture in my earlier post of the current "mounting location" of the roof rack and you can't really tell, but I'm hoping for a fixed mounting location much like the Rivian has on the and bed sides on their vehicles.

I saw a patent. Looks to be a similar system to the Mercedes roof system. But scouts have easy power hook up.

I much prefer the visibility out of the rear window of the Terra compared with the Silverado EV. I hope it stays as good as the concepts show.

I’m happy with it. It was bigger and more rugged looking then I thought it would be. Looking forward to more specific updates on production and delivery.

Even with the rails she’s still a big girl. I agree with my husband though. There’s no elevation changes between the hood and the fenders. She’s not much wider than the widest point of my Wrangler, but she looks like she is.
