What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. I have enjoyed built in Nav in my vehicles - but the problem is the upkeep. Most companies want a fairly healthy price to get map updates, and even then I doubt many built in navigation systems allow for real time traffic updates.

I really liked the system on my 2015 VW Golf TDI. I liked it so much I paid about $100 then to get it on my phone to use in other vehicles. Then Garmin purchased the company and bricked the software. What I liked about it most is that it used a reverse method of input, and autofilled as options became limited. Want to go to a town, it would autofill the current state (so generally one click to continue), the town name would take about 3 letters before getting down to the last option, street name was about 3 letters on average (as it only had to search street names of the town) - then all you had to type completely was the street number (if you cared about that level of detail).
 
I'm sure some of my fellow vets will agree, please please please include heated lumbar support with as many positions as possible!
Yes and lumbar support that goes up and down and you can inflate or deflate. It would also be great if the front of the seat had a break like my BMW seat did on the bottom and you could extend it so the seat touches the back of your knees.
 
Ok, but this a fringe issue. Most modern cruise controls will not engage below a certain speed. I understand, for most people, most of the time - it is a safety issue. But occasionally it would be nice to have a crawl control. Feeding - being able to crawl at 2mph could be a God send (at best now I would have to set the parking brake to drag the truck while idling to pull it off). Where I stable my horses - we have a 5mph speed limit - I hate having to keep my foot on the brakes for the 3/8 of a mile (which at 5 mph seems like forever). A stable controllable crawl speed would be great.

This would be great for traffic on the Pike, the adaptive speed control does turn off under 10mph, be nice to not have to play the go stop and just crawl along!

Edit: Folding mirrors that will work as you are pulling into a garage!

This is a very niche thing, but I think it would be super useful for me. The is an accessory rather than a built-in feature though. That said, I think the off-roading community could get some good use out of something like this.

Full-length shallow side tool boxes, with a rigid tonneau between and a headache rack. There's some companies that make something similar to what I'm thinking, like Highway Products makes a pickup pack but I'm thinking the center section to fold in a way that provides more access to the bed when needed and not quite as rigid.
 
So last week we had mulch delivered and the less than competent driver dumped it halfway down our driveway rather than the turn around as instructed. Due to this I’ve had to back in all week which is fine, my cameras work great and the alignment lines make it possible for even a new driver to do it easily. Made e me wonder though-if I/buyer selects the 17” tire carrier, does the back up camera and distance sensors get recalibrated or how does that work. 17” is a huge amount hanging off the rear in this scenario. Just wondering if others have thoughts and does @Jamie@ScoutMotors have any insight?

Bronco does a similar mount where the camera pokes through the center of the tire carrier. I wonder if it will be along the roof line, or mounted in the basket if you get the backpack. Anyone know if the swing gate is standard with/without the tire.

This was the answer Jamie gave a while ago. So apparently you will be able to order with or without. I’m with all the way!

That’s why I started thinking about it. Also makes one question how or if the sensor would work for those planning to buy the carrier and try to manually remove it themselves

That’s why I don’t think it’s intended to be removed. I’m sure you can remove it, but that’s doesn’t meant Scout is going to build it to make it easy.

I don't think this is "niche"; the Rams have storage like this (Rambox) as standard in their highest trim levels. I would certainly be tempted by a storage system like this if it was available for the Terra.

To be fair, I wasn't really thinking implemented into the bedsides like the Rambox. I was thinking strictly aftermarket style toolboxes. But yea, that's probably the closest factory/aftermarket implementation to what I'm thinking since you can still access the boxes while also still able to open the tonneau.

I haven't seen memory front driver's seat that also adjusts side mirrors. That features comes in handy for the wife and I (I'm 6'3" and she is 4'11"). Other features that would be nice would be:
- Homelink
- Heads up display
- Carplay
- 2nd row seats in the Traveler SUV that can recline a tiny bit (probably does, not 100% sure)
- the 1st and 2nd row bench seat option would have padded arm rest, cup holders, and storage in the fold down position
- optional roof rack would have 360 degree lights for offroad and camping
- hands free kick sensor for Front trunk (you can turn it on/off and need the fob near by to work)
- auto fold mirrors with defrost feature (very wide compared to my current MDX hybrid SUV)
- auto dim side and rear view mirrors
- camera rear view mirror option (if you have the vehicle load with supplies)
- 360 cameras with sentry mode with external storage option (if you want to record days of overland events)
- Eco, normal, sport, snow/sand/mud, offroad setting, and custom settings that changes hp/tq and regen braking/tq vectoring. Nice to have the option to use +/-400 hp/tq instead of the full 1000 tq for city driving duties.
- NO SCRIRPTION BASED FEATURES! I see other manufactures have subscription for simile things like remote start, remote door lock/unlock, vehicle tracking, handsfree driving, hp/tq power settings, etc...
- XM radio, don't always have good cell coverage out west
- Cabin cool feature for triple digit summer heat (similar to pet mode). I park all day in asphalt parking lot and the cabin temp can easily reach +120 degrees F with tinted windows and sunshade. Sometimes get a camera overheat warning for driver assist system mounted inside of top of the windshield.
