What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Keep that dream alive my friend. :)
Probably never see a new one but I’ve had a 20th scale model sitting on my desk shelf for over 15 years now so once the scout is paid for a used one will be my next splurge. Kid will be done with college and I’ll be later 50’s which seems perfect for a mid life crisis vehicle 😀

Yes. I still build my favorite 718 as well, just in Gentian Blue Metallic. Are you a Cayman or Boxster builder. I always build a Cayman. :)

Boxster. Still need another convertible for one more phase of my life. Had a 2012 328i and unfortunately I have hip issues and BMWs bolstering really bothered them so it and I departed

So be a true American I spent a little time watching college football and then at 11:45 my daughter called to tell us about their football game and tailgating. So I had a thought as she said there was a “sponsored” tent that had catered food. By know means do I expect SM to provide this but to work with an outside vendor. What if the frunk area could be set with a heater and catering companies could put in delivery rack system and trays of warm food for catering events. If it was set up for industry standard food trays it could also handle baked good deliveries, or bagels or if you are a successful hustler a Grubhub delivery driver 😀. And maybe not in these larger vehicles but if a future Metro model was introduced for urban environments that could be a plug-in type system from an outside vendor

I think that’s a great idea. They need to somehow get to as many different sporting events as possible. I think it would be great if they could have Terras and Travelers as the parade cars for the drivers parade in F1 painted in the team colors like Ineos did with Grenadiers not too long ago. However nothing will beat the drivers parade recently where Lego built life size drivable F1 cars for the drivers parade. That was awesome.

That. Certainly powers it and I liked that story but using the actual vehicle to function would be cool. That said-what would be cool is to collab with Scout Coffee in a tow behind trailer and take it to Scout events and power it through the Scouts like the article attached. Convert an awesome air stream to have a retro chrome coffee shop towed behind a Scout
