Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
He said Scout wasn't built on incentives. And that they have other routes to keep the pricing in the 50k range. And i don't believe the website has changed. I been monitoring for weeks.
I'd be very curious to see how he intends on plugging the $10K gap with routes outside of federal and state, and utility incentives. All I can think up is more basic model w/smaller battery, rebates, or pumping up trade in offers.

Reservation holders might also get a discount 😎

(Im speaking this into existence like Cyure)

Hold up, I was just pulling something out of thin air, is/was that actually a real thing?
Haha kind of. Forum members will get some perks like early orders.
I placed my reservation the same day they had the October event, but joined the other Scout Forum without realizing there was an official one here.

Nothing was ever officially stated if/what perks might be. But week 51 of year one a post was made to join if you were lurking on the side lines as it would be worth our while. Personally, and not holding my breath but as a week 1 member I’m hoping the small handful of us get ours for free 🤣. Not really but any perks are appreciated but not expecting major freebies. But that said I’m f offered a perk I think I would want to be able to have my traveler painted a custom color. Then it would (hopefully) be a year one model in a one of a kind color. That would be super cool.

IMO the most realistic thing Scout could offer is a "Scout Community Package" which would be a bundle of options given to us as a thanks for being awesome.

I missed the timeline for skipping the line. I was still making sure if I was completely set on Scout Motors design. And then I missed the cut off day by one day. But I still used my Scout Community Email. I’m still probably in the first 5k-10k reservations. Since in the beginning the reservations where slow from what we all have put together with common sense.

It does say BEFORE Oct 24th btw. Not sure if you made the cut.
Ok so I've read it a couple times and my latest understanding is that the car has to be ordered during October 24-31 AND the user joined before the 24th. So yeah, hopefully that's an "on or before October 24th" date....and it should be. That's the day of the reveal. I saw reveal, I made reservation, I joined here. I should be in that group as should everyone else for that day.
