  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I was simply tempering my response to people commenting on something they know little about. I guess this happens all the time.
Ha, yeah... People are pretty eager to discuss things they dont have a clue about.... and they are often not interested in learning the truth.

Thats why I deleted all my social media last year. Best to avoid them and leave them to their feedback loop of ignorance.

I never got tempted by the shinny “social media” thing when I had a real life unfolding right in front of me. This was all the truth I needed.

Understood and I can respect you a lot for that. Its definitely got a stranglehold on society though.

I used it to keep up with acquaintances and organized off roading events for the Toyota club I started. But hit a breaking point... I wont get into it but it has gotten deeply concerning and there is nothing we can do to put that toothpaste back in the tube.

To be fair, we are a very small group of people nerding out about vehicles that wont hit the pavement for another 3 years.

There are millions of auto enthusiasts that have never heard of Scout because they were too young to know about the originals and not interested in EVs so the new ones arent even on their radars.
Let’s keep saying 2 to 2-1/2 years. 3 years implies 2028 and I still believe we will see deliveries before end of 2027. I’m doing like like @cyure and assuming if we keep saying it we will make it happen 😀. SM has never said 2028-the media has said that. I’m keeping the faith

How true that statement really is!

Fever pitch will be around the 2-1/2 year mark. Hopefully we will be able to contain ourselves beyond that.

They also posted on this forum at the 11-/12 month mark that anyone who was registered as a first year member would see benefits but have never said what. It was funny how many people signed up in that 2 week period 😀
Some of us are a little late to the party but I am glad I found it.

Honestly was just poking around on the Scout Motor website and found this palce that way.

A different one shows up on Google first and I had registered there without realizing there was an official forum.

I’m glad you’re here. The folks the more thoughts and the more opportunity to hone the Scouts

Same. I found that one first too but then thankfully quickly found this one. This one is much better.
