Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Yeah-kind of a middle ground. Need overnight experience but not too rustic. Hotel dwellers would probably be willing to try it for a night
I went camping once with my Boy Scout son at a Boy Scout camp. So had a pool and bathrooms and such. By the third day I was so done with camp food I had Dominos delivered to the parking lot. I went around to all the parents and by the time I was done I ordered $200 worth of pizza. To say I am not a camper is an understatement but for the other Scout in my life I will make another exception. 😹

Driving a shiney new Scout across the country would catch some eyes and interest. Scout could give you a bunch of cards to hand out and maybe comp you some merch for traveling advertising!
Oh that’s a good idea. They should have a Cars and Coffee package so to speak that people can get so when they start taking their new cars to all
These car meet ups they have stickers with info and the SM website. And they could use it in conjunction with a referral program. So when someone orders a Scout based on the info you gave them you get points towards merch or accessories for your Scout.

Yes! Exactly what I was getting at. Great minds think alike.

I would love to do a factory delivery and take a factory tour while there. It would be a fun cross-country trip taking it back to California. #bucketlist
Welcome!

Many of us are excited about the prospect of factory delivery.

I wonder if we could figure out how to organize meetups for forum members while at the factory picking up our Scouts?

I will probably fly out there and drive the 1,000 miles back to ETX.

Would definitely be down to convoy if anyone is taking I-20 home.

As an aside, I think it would be fun to try out the 240V plug with Harvester to charge a BEV Scout before leaving to see if it can be used as a backup.

I’ll bring my Lightning to help out.

That’s the logistical issue in getting local vehicle groups vehicles at the same time. That said it would be cool if a group wanted to do a convoy home/kick off Ralleye at the plant and SM could schedule your delivery experiences. Might mean some folks wait longer until all vehicles are completed but might be worth the delay if a group can travel home together

That would be really fun. Depends on how long the wait is.

Okay this is gonna sound nuts but you could have experienced EV owners with novices in the caravan so when we novices get to the chargers and are freaking out like it’s the first time we are putting gas in the car they can calm us down and show us what to do. 😹

I’m hoping that is part of delivery center experience as they kick us out at the end of the day 🤣

Honestly I need videos beforehand with instructions so I can be prepared and then lessons before I leave.
State of Charge with Tom Moloughney has an incredible Youtube channel devoted to EV charging.
