Your state’s 24 hours in a day in the life of a Scout adventure

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I don't usually go anywhere local to me in PA, but at some point I want to go the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon so that would be a fun trip. If I do get mine late 2027 or early 2028 then we normally head up to Quebec in February so that would be a fun trip to take it on and see how it performs in the cold and snow!
I know you’ve mentioned Quebec before-that would be a great trip. Love Quebec. Want to do Montreal next so that might be a good trip as well

I’ve thought about what a Massachusetts trip would look like, and then I even started mapping out a trip and realized “oh, these are all restaurants and a couple of beaches” and realized what this said about me and my interests, which is to say “restaurants and a couple of beaches.” Basically, it would involve following the coast from the northernmost part of the state riiiiight before you get into New Hampshire to check out the boardwalk at Salisbury Beach and ending at the Wellfleet Drive-In right at the tip of Cape Cod. You’d have to do this during warm weather to take advantage of the whole beach thing. I feel like our beaches are pretty underrated. I wanted to avoid the historical landmarks. I spent a bunch of time mapping this all out and then failed to save the map and was devastated. I’ll come back to edit this.

I think the older we get the more trips become about food and something in between that interests all parties. We were in London mid March and my daughter/wife planned most days and it was about restaurants and destinations

Salisbury beach and cape cod? Even the beaches sound like food! 😜

Now I’m hungry …

I live in the Ozarks, and there are lots of challenging trails to test the abilities of a new off road vehicle like the Traveler that I reserved. But to be honest, until I get familiar with my first EV, and for the price of a new vehicle, this will see more mall parking lots than dirt roads for the first few months..

Interesting Photo of the Day: The Ozarks at Dawn

Tell us your state and which Scout model and what a full day adventure in the new Scout would look like. Who knows-maybe this will inspire others to expand the Scout community. Maybe it’s 12 or 16 hours but what is your ideal adventure day in your state look like. Favorite breakfast joint to start the day and what you’d do for a day. Dream on!
New Mexico, many 24 hour journeys to be had. but the Valles Caldera is a beautiful place to visit. You can visit Los Alamos Labs, the Bradbury museum and a walking tour relatively close by. It is a beautiful place and not where one would think such a destructive thing was developed. Carlsbad Caverns, the Petroglyphs. My favorite breakfast place just closed up shop :( Favorite New Mexican restaurant, Sadie's beef brisket enchiladas, but there are many many others. The National Museum of Nuclear History and Science, plan at least 3 hours.

I was born and mostly raised in MA. I always do history day trips when I go back.
