What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
our S60 has no paddle so I select 1-pedal mode when I drive it, my wife, not so much, she'll do it when I remind her but other wise just puts it in 'D'...
I love one pedal, can’t see myself buying another vehicle without it (unless it’s a project car) I’ve only taken my car out of one pedal once, so my mom could drive it. It’s been incredibly convenient. Honestly my gripe with one pedal is that the techs at the Chevy service center always turn it off when I have anything done and it confuses me when I leave the lot and my car coast past the stop sign

Sounds like we need a mode indicator in the cluster or center-stack screen for safety reasons. Or have your preferred regen setup in your saved driver setup.

I've read many posts and searched this forum, haven't quite found this suggestion, apologies if it's already out there. I'd like to see the rear seats fold up completely like the Nissan Titan does. This is a very handy feature, they have a little fold out bench under the seat, which then makes the back area completely flat for an additional cargo hauling area. So for the times I am driving by myself and perhaps put the more "precious" cargo in the rear seat floor area instead of the bed of the truck. Perhaps this photo will explain it better than I can type it out. I use this more than I ever thought I would. Don't have to worry about damaging the leather seats or having unstable items on the seats.

Is that storage under the platform? Nice features.

Yes, there is storage under the platform as well! For a discontinued truck, I like the way this rear seat area is configured. Can't speak to other manufacturers but all my friends seem to comment on it, when they see I have it like this, they wish their truck (Chevy/Ford/Ram,etc) did this. Very handy having a FLAT surface in the rear area. Again, I think the idea being perhaps you aren't always hauling people and you might not want to put it in the bed of the truck. And yes, the rear seats in the Nissan Titan are VERY comfortable too, they are not thin jump seats.

That’s a new one I think. Looks like it would be pretty handy.

Yeah my kids complain about the jump seats in the back of the Wrangler. I’m hoping for comfy back seats that also recline a little bit like they do in 4Runners.

I’m hoping for this as well, might be easier for my dogs, especially if they don’t put ceiling or b pillar fan vents in. You can raise the seats like that in an F-150 as well so I’m hoping Scout will too.

My Lincoln doesn't have any handy rear seat storage. But the seats a supper comfortable, recline and move fore and aft. I alway slide them all the way back with full recline. When people get in the rear seats they have told me it's like sitting in a La-Zy-Boy. Personally I haven't spent much time back there.

I know they’ve said the plan is for the rear seat to fold up with rails for on the floor like the rear cargo area of the traveler , but because of the nature of the concept vehicle it’s not something they were able to show, just like the folding console of the front bench seat

Hey everyone! Honestly as long as it has a heated steering wheel I’m all good. Love everything else I’ve seen already. Hardest part is going to be deciding what I want!
Welcome to the Scout community. This time of year I really miss having a heated steering wheel. My wife has one so that’s a treat on the occasions I use her vehicle

It would be nice if there’s any intent for a watch based app/key to see that functionality on android. I do carry both an iPhone and Samsung for work purposes, but I prefer the look galaxy watches, since they aren’t quite as distinctive at a glance. As it’s getting colder I’ve been tempted to buy an Apple Watch just for the MyChevrolet app, so I don’t have to fish anything out of my pockets to unlock or remote start my car

Welcome!

I have to agree. Heated steering wheel is a game changer. I never had one before I recently got my F150 Lightning, and now that I have it I love it.
