  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Quick question; there are 780 or so votes on this thread but over 50,000 official reservations. My apologies for being to lazy to search. Is it officially posted anywhere if the official reservation are equally as dominant toward the Harvester models?

I think it was in one of the videos where Scott was interviewed that he said 70% were for Harvester. I haven’t seen anything in writing that I remember, but there have been some car and driver articles etc that may have mentioned it. And the video of that presentation they did in Blythewood the gentleman speaking said they were up to 75,000 reservations and I think that was back in February. Trying to keep track of everything can be difficult.

I recently saw or heard 80,000 + reservations and at least 70% harvester

I opted to reserve the Terra Harvester model - I’m active with Scouting America and having that backup while out in the boondocks at a Scout camp will give me that extra piece of mind!
Welcome to the community. Eagle Scout mom here. Thank you for all your volunteering with Scouting. It’s a lot of work.

It’s only an hour per week ……. Per scout ……. Per position - lol

I enjoy it and it’s a great way to give back - my son is a Star Scout - he’s already sketching out what he wants to do for his Eagle project - time flies!
Congrats to you. I know how much work that is not just for the scout, but the parents as well.

And those skills they learn in scouting really move over into their lives moving forward. His first job interview ever he came out to the car after and I asked him okay what are the next steps and he pulled out a little pad of paper where he had made notes. I didn’t tell him to bring paper and a pen. He got that from a paper and pen being part of the uniform they would check at scout master conferences.

And boy does time fly. He’s been an ICU nurse now for 3 years. That was his first job out of college. I can’t even believe it.
