Pictures From Rodeo Event: Ft Worth, TX

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
As a Bronco owner, I’m taking that as a good sign.

4x4, lockers, skid plates, and sexy - yeah, basically a Bronco but bigger, better, and bench seat-ier!
(@Jamie@ScoutMotors please dont ban me 🙏)
Same. My original plan was to keep my '22 Bronco until I got back into a truck with the Terra.
Ended up letting the Bronco go a couple of months ago, so I'm in in a Maverick Tremor now.
Thought about changing my reservation to a Traveler instead, but as my wife pointed out (after I dragged her to this event yesterday), every time I give up a truck bed, I end up regretting it (though I did love my Bronco).
Think I'll probably end up sticking with the Terra, and I'm pretty sold on the bench seat now. (It was the other thing I couldn't make up my mind about).

Got bored of Bronco or had endless problems like I did?

Not really many problems, but...
I bought it with a soft top, and ended up buying an aftermarket Hard top.
Had it in for a door-lock recall, and after the work the rear passenger window would catch every time you opened the door (and the dealership refused to fix it).
Put over 70,000 miles on it and started getting antsy about lack of warranty.
(Plus I was about to spend about $2500 on new tires).
The week I started half-heartedly shopping around, I had two blowouts (on the same tire) three days apart.
Took it as a sign...

Plz remind me. Have we seen the updated Terra yet, but with the current Traveller tire & wheelset (all black / 35"s)?

I know we have seen the silver and black version, but not sure if we have seen the all black version on the Terra and would like to see that. I have no interest in a ~20% or so efficiency penalty for running 37"s (and no need for a 37" tire - especially in a snowy winter climate).

That would be an easy swap and photoshoot for Scout too (if we haven't seen that yet).

I would love to see 33s on 18s on the Traveler. Just have a lift a camera and a bunch of wheel and tire combos. Don’t care about the scenery. In a garage is fine!

No we haven’t seen it an all black version that I am aware of.
