From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

“Another prominent veto dismissed a provision that would have postponed payment to contractors who performed work at Richland County’s Scout Motors site while state investigators compiled a report on why the Department of Commerce was $150 million over budget on the project.
“The state of South Carolina must pay its bills, including debt owed to contractors and vendors who have completed work at the Scout Motors site,” McMaster wrote. “For work that has been done, the bills should be paid now.””

I think Hyundai is going to launch the first legit competitor to the Traveler/Terra Harvesters. The Boulder Concept had all the right ingredients.I must admit I kinda like it.

I don’t hate this, maybe one of their best designs yet. The dash looks like a refined version of that extreme off road vehicle they showed a few months back with the rounded edges. This looks way better than the extreme concept pulled off as the interior goes. It’s a nice evolution from the earlier off road conceptI must admit I kinda like it.

Report: Ford Will Expand the Bronco Family with a Hybrid and a New Pickup Truck by 2030
The Bronco-based pickup truck will do battle with the Jeep Gladiator, which is also expected to be integrated into the Wrangler family in the coming years.

This is interesting given the current truck market Ford has in place, this seems like it could/would take sales away from the Ranger. The Bronco is built on the same platform as the Ranger. In addition, the Bronco is limited with towing capactiy at 3500#

I'm sure Bronco family will compete. I'm intrigued by Farley's recent comments on electrifying every platform and giving folks who tow frequently a good solution.
Haven't seen many folks or media focusing on the hybrid Bronco plans with ProPower onboard, arriving 2027. That's the bigger news IMO

how many of them are gray?
Thanks for this informative response. If Ford opts to produce a Ford Bronco pick-up it would be a direct competitor for the Gladiator and would have to hit these targets.
Non US model Shown. I read at least two blacks and three blues. One gray color noted on their website.

I will note from the read I still like the idea of a special launch version only color. Still offer other standard colors but should be a unique color to launch with. And I think SM should develop (3) colors and let the forum vote to determine what the final color would be.
