Pretty much is what i read.Trying to cash in on the AI-hype before it comes crashing down?
I mostly like RocketLab. They’re doing good work and taking the thoughtful approach. One key that I like about their management especially is that they're not rejecting the expertise of literally millions of person-years of experience that can be found in the world's space agencies. That said, I think too many of these companies are burning out their employees with the nonsense “start-up culture” of expecting their employees to essentially live at the office. That leads to all kinds of major systemic issues. And RL isn’t immune to this problem. I have friends at every medium and large rocket company and some of the smaller ones, and the burnout stories they tell are similar. Certain employers generate some dramatically different (worse) experiences. It’s not always easy to move from one company to another, though.Thoughts on Rocket Lab? They seem to be taking a proper, methodical approach to space.
I'm skeptical of the upcoming SpaceX IPO. I'm sure it'll be overpriced, and likely overvalued, but I want to know more about the numbers. How much cash have they been burning for Starship? Is the IPO there because they're running low on cash, despite Starlink revenue?
I had a friend crunch the numbers for share price. the company is valued at 1.75 trillion. and he is saying a shar will cost between $400-8,000. He thinks that it will come in around the $400-500, he based it off of other technology companies, since spacex is considered a technology comapny.Thoughts on Rocket Lab? Ok, at first, given the NASA context, I read that as SRBs. Was wondering if I missed somethingThis is one reason it’s weird to me people keep pushing to put SSBs (that don’t even exist) in the first generation Scouts.
I support this idea.Ok, at first, given the NASA context, I read that as SRBs. Was wondering if I missed something![]()
Beyond 20?I wasn’t going to brag… I play D&D with a friend who is running operations…among a couple dozen other friends.![]()

We use Roll20 for maps and Zoom for the virtual meeting space. We can’t give up our own personal dice so we roll on our own. We’ve been playing together since grad school. That is, some 25-35 years.Beyond 20?
I have a very deep hatred of Ford from personal experiences, so I love seeing them shooting themselves in the foot every chance they get!
This is my first time hearing about this.
Brief discussion on it. https://community.scoutmotors.com/threads/extra-extra-read-all-about-it.172/post-72745

I believe. Uncle Jimbo wouldn't lie.

That’s so cool that you have managed to keep that going so long. Hard to find and keep fiends like that.
A group adopted me and folded me into their campaign. Never played previously. We have been grinding through The Shattered Obelisk campaign for about 4 years now.
We use Discord for voice, Roll 20 for the maps, DnD Beyond for the character sheets, and the Beyond 20 extension that lets you roll from DnD Beyond to Roll 20.
It has become the highlight of my week. Lots of shenanigans. My character is pretty overpowered but the DM allows it because Im a newbie and forget all the things he can do most of the time.
(After most of the party has been wiped out) “Oh yeah, I can just toss that mind flayer into those stalactites with Telekinesis.”
We are about to face the final boss before starting the Curse of Strahd.
I am going to grieve the loss of my first campaign character when it’s over….
I always tell people, “The mafia never went away. They just learned to legislate their livings.”![]()

Wow-that hurts to see that in writing. Nearly $5000 just to make a process more difficult![]()

This is the crap that makes it difficult in the tractor business. Not so much construction equipment. But, people come in on edge and defensive already with us because their only dealer experience has been at car dealerships. We operate very differently and our pricing structure is way different.Wow-that hurts to see that in writing. Nearly $5000 just to make a process more difficult
