I am SO tired of all trucks (and more and more SUVs) branding their ass end with huge tramp stamps. I typically debadge my vehicles though, so I might be biased.
Ill give you the update:Saw that the Rivian/VW JV just unlocked another payment milestone with the completion of winter testing in various VW vechicals including the Scout. @Jamie@ScoutMotors is there any insight Scout is planning to share regarding how that testing went?

That's not a skid plate. That's a diaper. Why does the skid plate go all the way up on the tail gate and the hood?
agreedI’m sorry but this just looks to fancy.

It looks like a very big piece of duct tape was needed to hold everything together. You know, like a diaper. That's not a skid plate. That's a diaper.
I like the way you said that because I feel kind of the same. It’s a nice design but they did t know when to stop embellishingIt looks like toddlers toy more than real vehicle concept, but I can’t put my finger on why it’s making me feel that way

Come on…….show us your tramp stamp ……..I am SO tired of all trucks (and more and more SUVs) branding their ass end with huge tramp stamps. I typically debadge my vehicles though, so I might be biased.
Or an atomic weggie! That's not a skid plate. That's a diaper.
Not to be confused with the atomic sit up. Do not google that.Or an atomic weggie!
Mainly just the HUGE make or model letters across the rear end. You're correct, there's historical precedent though, whether I like it or not.Come on…….show us your tramp stamp ……... Assume you mean the entire tailgate, though to be fair that’s been around for ages if you think about all the old trucks that had manes stamped into the tailgate sheet metal
I can’t stand dealers around here that put the name of the dealer on the back. I have told them all when we were purchasing they did that, the deal was over.Mainly just the HUGE make or model letters across the rear end. You're correct, there's historical precedent though, whether I like it or not.
I cant unsee this now. Thanks a lot! That's not a skid plate. That's a diaper.

Disappointing.
Some dealers have it in the contracts you sign that they're required to remove those stickers if you ask, but a heat gun (or a hot day) and a soft scraper (or credit card) they tend to come right offI can’t stand dealers around here that put the name of the dealer on the back. Completely agree, is scout ends up a dealers, I'll look for a used Silverado or jump straight to Rivian, dealerships can kick rocks, especially with how they've treated us hereDealers won’t get my money either way.
If I buy a Scout, it’ll be through direct sale. If I can’t do that, I’ll buy a used Scout through Carvana or I’ll suck up my dislike of Rivian’s war on physical interfaces and buy a used Rivian or a used Lucid Gravity. I’m entirely done with dealerships.
The only way I would even consider it is if it was like the way my friend ordered her BMW. She went to the dealership, clicked all the boxes, and they built it to her specs. Then I would just pick it up at the factory. But if there’s any kind of dealer markup or ridiculousness nope nope nope. Not happening.Completely agree, is scout ends up a dealers, I'll look for a used Silverado or jump straight to Rivian, dealerships can kick rocks, especially with how they've treated us here
