From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. I think Americans are, I think big O and G is making it hard for everyone wanting them-unfortunately but that’s just my opinion
Electrall is fun, but I'm not sure if SM could use it because it appears to still be a part of the International Harvester brand (though unused), which is currently owned by CNH/Case IH.
I know they have alot of EREV reservations, but if im honest (and maybe its juts my more cynical opinion) I feel like BEV reservations are more likely to convert to orders compared to EREV, atleast outside of this forum since the majority here are actively engaged and interested.

I don't really understand this article, the wording "“Our investments have grown as we’ve realized this vision,” they added, stating that the previously announced $2 billion was a “guaranteed minimum investment” under the agreement signed by the company with the state of South Caroline" here makes it seem like WV was very aware that the project will cost more then $2billion. This article is titled as a hit piece but goes on to show that Scout/VW increased their investment as the scope of the project increased? And the scrutiny is the previously-discussed shortsightedness of SC government.
Is this open air or a glass roof? I'm holding my expectations low but looks interesting. I like that it was rear climate control with captain seats which leads me to believe it's a 3rd row vehicle and definitely not a truck.
I for one am SHOCKED that things get more expensive SHOCKED I TELL YOU
that being said I am very thankful that my company went overboard on our new factory we our building (plus our world works differently)
3 row with a glass roof. Looks pretty. I like that the interior isn’t so black and bulky like a lot of the Toyota interiors. I don’t need a 3 row so won’t change my mind but I can see the appeal.
I can guarantee you the exterior of that vehicle is going to be hideous. Which is unfortunate!
