Even without all the issues listed in the article, I still can’t fathom how it’s that expensive for what it is.
So not only are they crapping on it BUT it’s more expensive than the Scouts AND it’s as much as the new Recon which is more capable and can essentially be an open top lifestyle vehicle. I guess if you don’t like ‘boxy’ design you’d choose the S but I don’t know why they’d put out 2 vehicles that are essentially the same price. I’ve always been a wrangler fan-so long as someone else was paying for it-Jeeps are never ending problems but man did Stella ‘this screw them over

I disagree with the beginning premise of the article. Stellantis isn’t even doing gas vehicles well right now. I’ll repeat myself: the company is acting as if it were bought by a private equity firm and is being dismantled.
What is happening?
It's the same supplier. They are clearly not adhering to health and safety standards. What is happening?

Safe to say they need to drop that aluminum supplier. And maybe see who GM, and Rivian are using...

I'd argue Jeep has a market for the Wagoneer S, had they executed it well. I love my Wrangler for it's styling and it's off road ability. I love putting the top down and taking the doors off. I bought it 19 years ago when I was 24 and now at 43, I still smile driving it. I also love my Grand Cherokee for the styling and all the refinements it has. The ride is more comfortable, it's quieter, it has more usable space (Wrangler is a 2 door). All around, it's just a nicer daily driver. The only Jeep product I love is Wranglers. Well, the headline may be a little misleading. The article seems to indicate that it was a testing/trial run, and they’re using what they learned for the next revision. I’m skeptical too, but one of these days they might be useful for the boring/tedious/dangerous stuff.Safe to say robots won’t be taking over labor jobs.

Rivian is really doing very well. Especially considering that they are really only selling a BMW/Audi/Merc competitor and not something in a lower price bracket.View attachment 11671
Rivian isn't doing bad
Rivian is pretty much a Luxury Brand. That's the price bracket and market they are placed in at the moment. I think once R2 and R3 come out that will help them out so much. I really haven't heard anything bad about Rivian. Besides the turning radius from pretty much anyone I have talked with that owns one, or has test drove one.Rivian is really doing very well. Especially considering that they are really only selling a BMW/Audi/Merc competitor and not something in a lower price bracket.
