Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
DAAAMN! That is beautiful. I could see traveler in that color with gun metal or black roof. Very nice shade
Black roof, bronze wheels. I think I need to start loudly advocating for matte bronze wheels now. Now that everyone and their brother on here knows I want butter yellow time to yell, MATTE BRONZE WHEELS!!

I’m really curious after Friday when we have all seen the complete new Traveler color if people have changed their minds from the launch colors. We really need a poll with those 4 colors to see where people land.

Just saw this on FB yesterday View attachment 8857
Z's are great looking cars, I can't wait to see this color in person.

Me too. I love purple. I wish the Z got more positive accolades because I think it is the perfect mix of retro and modern-just like the Scouts. I debated buying one but not enough raving and held off. Wish they would have offered a soft or hard top convertible-then I would have pulled the trigger

Just the Nissan issues. When we were looking at the Supra that was a consideration and then it had a stop sell for some reason so we said forget it.

When we went on our cross country trip we looked out our hotel window and saw this.

We saw a lot of people walk around the Z and then our Supra. It was funny to see people checking out our car.

I much prefer our Supra.

I like Supra but the simplicity of design in the Z appeals a lot to me just like the traveler. The Z was begging for a soft top

I think factory bronze or dark gold as an option would be cool…but I really, really think I’d like to see a polished option along with some bright trim to match. Really throw it back a bit.
I’m all for that as well. I just want unique and different all around.

Question, is it easy to switch wheels on a BEV? Can you just get any 18” wheel or do they have to be specifically for a BEV?

Other than possible aero considerations if the factory wheels are particularly aero-oriented? Shouldn’t be any different than swapping wheels on ICE.
