Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
World’s largest electric car manufacturer is now testing their own SS batteries with some incredible claimed range numbers.

Sad to know we will continue falling behind the rest of the world. Every other prominent country will be using clean energy and driving long range EV’s and we will be destroying our open land drilling for oil. Amazing how our country bows down to the oil industry. And on top of it we continue rolling back policies to continue polluting more. I feel for the children in our country. OK-back to Scout talk!!!!

Another milestone as noted on FB

I'm not sure if this has been posted before. Personally, I find it to be an abomination. But we're all entitled to our opinions.
Wow. That might be the best looking SUV I’ve seen. Brings back memories of the 80’s but a bit more aaahhhaaaahhhhhaaaa!!!-kidding-that thing is terrible, what a way to visualize destroying a great looking SUV anybody that does that to a Scout should lose their privileges

It will happen, but hard NO. I also really, really hope the brand does not tarnish it's reputation with making that a factory option. Sure it will gain a few sales, but loose 10x that many due to people not wanting to be associated with it. Just look at the death of Cadillac.

Mostly a joke, but based on the Cadillac's I see on the road now - almost think spinner hub caps are a factory option.

Latest Scout story drop. Great write up on National als and amazing pics. @cyure your husband did well too but there are some great pictures of people and vehicles of the past. Check it out
It’s a great article and I love the focus on the vintage and the people who kept the Scout community alive. Without them I suspect we wouldn’t have the Scouts of today.

Not my cup of tea, but one of the things I love about motorsports is how it brings people together. It shows people's passion.

You could have men, women, black, white, brown, all manner of faiths, all together off-roading, or dragging, or drifting, etc.

Uh oh. That’s a really nice size….https://apple.news/ApMUgLxjwS46eOIpaXRxraA
Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if they sold that in other markets before bringing it here. Assembly location will be a big factor too. The popular Defender is made in Slovakia and gets a 25% tariff. Of course, by the time that comes to market those tariffs could be gone.
