Is $.42/kwh comparable to super chargers, etc? I have no idea. Seems a touch high? Should have watched longer-they showed comparable chargers

I checked PlugShare and there is an Electrify America fast charger in my area at $0.56 per kWh on a 350 kWh charger. A CircleK Charge is 0.43$/kWh on a 180kWh charger.

They do this in NJ where I was working near for a few years back. Never saw it more than 50% full.
So not too bad. Trying to get used to what it will cost to “fill up” when doing long road trips
Currently I’m getting just over 500 miles on the Accord hybrid (600 in summer) on a 12 gallon tank. At $3.40-ish/gallon I’m at roughly $42-45/fill up so on a road trip I’ll actually spend more than current but assuming charge at home will be cheaper. So for me I can claim convenience and earth saving as my advantages and realizing I’m going from a solid aerodynamically designed sedan to a brick on wheels.

This seems very promising! I do hope at some point they come up with an app that you can use for all chargers instead of having to have multiple different apps or use credit cards etc. Either that or have it so you can plug and charge on every different charger through the car.

I’ve just spent the last 30 minutes trying to fix my Electrfy America app with no success. I have some sort of charging plan that came with my BMW. Not working…. Anyway I 100% agree with you!
