Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Ah I did not know this. Which now speculates a swinging rear door vs. drop down door unless a swing out tire carrier is in place which I doubt for cost consideration.
I mean that’s what the picture looks like. That looks like a tire hanging off the back.

This was the Scout teaser I saw when I was looking for a car and googled “things that look like a Wrangler”. I kept telling my husband I’m not buying anything until the Scout reveal. And this didn’t show a tire carrier.

So who knows.

I'm looking forward to seeing this, carries 1st gen XTerra vibes on this silhouette, also, notice a small ripple of some sort towards the end of the roof line, possible a canvas or soft top? Boulder concept, XTerra and of course Scout, it's a great time to be be a fan of offroad SUV's in the near future
I like this silhouette and agree but the front hood sneak peek they offered isn’t my cup of tea. I think it’s gonna be a love it or hate it type design. Like the Juke- hated if my initially then grew on me and now I see they are bringing it back as EV for Europe and the design (what I’ve seen) is intriguing

Saw that picture on Facebook a few days ago (probably from the Scout Facebook group). Scout Motor Sales LLC got me wondering a bit - but with AI now, no use staring to guess if you can see if it is a Photoshop.

Apparently Scout Motors Sales LLC is a thing though - they have been mentioned in the direct sales lawsuits at least (along with Scout Motors Inc). But not all that much on the web about their activities - other than being defendants in the lawsuits.

More event dates/locations on the site!

I guess just Seattle was added - sorry - I got all excited and then saw the 2025 dates...
Yeah the order got me too. Need those 2025 dates moved into a "Previous Events" section if they're worth keeping. I almost told @cyure she needs to start planning another Chicago trip. lol

Ha!! Honestly anywhere in the Midwest. Like 500 mile radius we would go without thinking. 800 to 900 requires more thought. Over 1000 I would look at how much flights cost compared to driving. I’m planning on seeing them as many times as I can before launch.

My wife's parents live in Seattle, so if it was a little further out we might have been able to take a trip (& I could make a detour). But I have no desire to see what flights would look like only 2-3 weeks out. Hahaha
