My Scout will be a "pavement princess" and I'm not ashamed of it.
Same. There’s absolutely no reason to. That’s what my Wrangler is as well.
It’s hard facing the truth about yourself sometimes, but sadly mine will be too.
There’s no sadly about it. I am a proud Wrangler owner. I will be a proud Scout owner. I love my vehicles. So what we don’t off road. The Scout is what I want and my choice isn’t less than because I don’t off road. No more apologies people!! Advocate for what you what and be proud about it!It’s hard facing the truth about yourself sometimes, but sadly mine will be too.
As long as the dealership chargers aren't in an area that's locked afterhours and their sales people leave those sitting ducks alone while charging this is a good thing, but then again I want fast chargers everywhere.
Same here. Maybe a meadow meanderer but mainly PP
Wow-I’ve thought nearly the same thing so glad to hear someone say it-I have I kid, no dogs and kid is at collegeI love reading about/watching/keeping up with offroading stuff, its just not for me.
I just want to cart my two kids and two dogs around comfortably in a modern version of a car I've been obsessed with for 30 years, it's not a tall ask![]()
Very fair point! Comes off looking like they forgot to do it the day before.I found this picture off reddit, of someone that just took delivery of their MachE.
Here's something i want Scout Motors to know to do for me at my delivery. Please don't have my traveler plugged in, personally i don't want to be greeted to my Scout being plugged in. Because from what I've seen working at dealerships, no gasoline car has a nozzle sticking out of it.
I’m planning to meet @OleScout to go drive the beach at Chinquoteak (keeps auto correcting) and see the ponies. He just doesn’t know I invited myself-SURPRISE!!!!Any Car/Truck/SUV to me is a tool and a luxury. Use that Tool how everyone wants, but make an effort to get your scout on a off road course at least once. In its lifetime.
Im gonna do that but on Island Beach State Park lolI’m planning to meet @OleScout to go drive the beach at Chinquoteak (keeps auto correcting) and see the ponies. He just doesn’t know I invited myself-SURPRISE!!!!
And please make sure it’s at 100% state of charge. Several people have reported their EVs being delivered well below 100%, which is equivalent to having less than a full tank of gas in an ICE when you drive off the lot.I found this picture off reddit, of someone that just took delivery of their MachE.

Have sand, will travel. I have a buddy in DE too and he has beach tags but not sure I can use them out of state. But we will figure something out for that as wellIm gonna do that but on Island Beach State Park lol
Most of the beaches that allow 4WD vehicles on them, normally have a set of regulations and equipment thats needed.Have sand, will travel. I have a buddy in DE too and he has beach tags but not sure I can use them out of state. But we will figure something out for that as well

I dont think less of anyone that will use their Scout as a Mall Crawler, but I will still poke fun.Any Car/Truck/SUV to me is a tool and a luxury. Use that Tool how everyone wants, but make an effort to get your scout on a off road course at least once. In its lifetime.
