From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Absolutely. My Lincoln does steering column as well as infotainment.
Rivian does the same, identifies the driver by fob, phone or tap, then adjust the seat and steering column accordingly. The only issue is really the room BEHIND the driver if you are tall and need the extra legroom (in the R1T). Obviously taking the space in the front will reduce the space in the back. From my vantage point, The Scout will be more comfortable and as people mentioned, fit more like a F-150 or Silverado.
I have so much space behind myself in the Lightning. I could give up 6-12 inches for a longer bed. And I would still have a ton of space in the back seat.
Lucky you. When we are driving my wifes Maverick and the dogs are harnessed in their elevated dog seats I have a dog breathing down my neck, our female pup likes to look out the windscreen.
Lucky in one sense, sure. But I would have liked a longer bed or shorter truck and would give up some second row cabin space for it.
Of course it would be a different story if our Rottie was still alive.
(The Rivian was out of my price range.)

I'm 6'6" and it might also be a little tight. Just hope he forgot to adjust the seat. I would love to see auto makers find a way to get the seat lower for us taller people, would be nice to get much more visibility out of all my cars lol.

Also looks like that guy could slide his seat back quite a bit from the angle of this picture, no? I'm guessing he could slide back and there would still be solid legroom for the rear passengers, but hard to tell without cutting off the door!
Welcome to the community. Those are hand built concepts. I don’t even know if we are 100% sure that the seats adjust. Not everything in there works like it will work when it’s a production model, if that makes sense.
My guess is he was NOT allowed to move the seat. No way he drives like that in anything but a toy car.
Welcome to the forum. I would say having seen at reveal with a driver in it -it is taller than it looks. I think the perspective is throwing it a bit. I definitely think if seats slid back easily he’d have more leg space as well as there was a lot of space behind front seat and second row. If you are 6’-8” you may struggle but it was quite roomy in person
How tall is CEO Scott Keogh? I bet he directed those seats be locked down to fit him.I dunno, jay leno got them moving up to 20mph!
Yeah I really doubt seats move on those flashy rails, thinking controls are just a mock-up that breaks if you're too rough with them -

The parts at least appeared to be made from real metal. The air compressor was 100% 3-d printed but it looked good from a few feet away
